Hemmorage x 31 = 101k damage, Backstabx 30 = 360k damage, my own test. I can always link the screenshot. It was done on a dummy and I took the screen shot right before I did H MgT hence the coloration.

@Sffker I'm in vicious / ruthless with ruthless weapons, I hit about 22k top crit with hemo on the dummies, and about 3-4k non crits, with backstab my non crits are anywhere from 5k to 10k, crits range from 17-30k. Backstab has a higher chance to crit by 30% if you go backstab spec so it'll have more sustained burst then hemo even though hemo is cheaper. Hemo: 29 energy, Backstab: 40 energy ( 35 if you crit when glyphed ). I prefer to hit for 5-10k more with 6 more energy cost.

The damage on the pally was because he lined up trinket procs,CDs, and he stole wings which is a 20% damage boost it's not that unrealistic. Plus mastery boost on frozen targets and shatter

@Skapsmurfen No. Hemo crits for 8-9k and backstab for 15k. Hemo retains the role it had pre patch as a low energy bleed, but does more damage. Backstab is better in so many ways, not only for marginally higher DPS, but for the ridiculous burst pressure the rogue can apply. The only reason Merc recommended it was because he has high ping. Sword Hemo specs suck too, as the core of the spec is shadow dance ambush spam. This increases hemo dmg but much worse overall.
