@Clemsonshawty Yes, it is a different vocal register and timbre (texture). She has learned, through years of singing, to narrow the vocal production into the mask (nasal cavity) and incorporate some of her chest voice into that "head" or "falsetto" position. This is the same technique that KCS, Lecresia Campbell, and all the other very high gospel sopranos do.
