The toothpaste cleans very well the nails, the lemon juice remove the yellowish colour that you can get from applying nail polish without using a base coat and the oil makes the nails stronger.

The lemon juice makes the nail stronger also:)...I use olive oil with lemon juice..a very good combination...lemon juice helps the skin to absorb better the oil, so we don't have oily hands:)

Toothpaste is a cleaning product, and the lemon juice an acid. Mixing those two cleans better.
