Hey I have to say this is looking to be just as good as Ouendan, I love the music selection so far. Plus even though the new scenario's are more 'american' they still have the charm of the original ones.

Ditto. I've already mastered Ouendan, so I can't play it all that much anymore, it gets boring. Not to brag, but I got all 300s on Ready Steady Go in Cheerleader mode, and S-ranked every level. It gets a bit boring trying to beat your already top-notch high scores. Which is why I need EBA to keep me busy!

If the game is like this there's likely to be no gentle songs or a real perserverance feel (Cramming for tests, making a date, saving the world from a meteor, finding inspiration)... no dice.

Psh. You think I'm some sort of hopeless Japanophile? The concept or what made the game original was the situations + hilarity of the day to day workings. From the demo movie it just looks like "Oh noes, I can't take care of this baby, let's dance."

At least there was some sort of original scenario premise, reuniting with a lost love, trying to make an appointment on time, passing entrance exams, etc. This is just cheer because we can't do tasks that are normally done without much effort.
