This must be a prototype. The production Carrera GT had an analog gauge cluster. That electronic LCD screen was not in the production model CGT.

As a matter of fact Lexus LFA is the first car to have a fully functioning computer with TFT screen as the gauge cluster.

Enzo is quite faster on 'Ring than GT and its worth 1 million, its collectible. And the new 599FXX is street legal and made an incredible 6' 58" in 'Ring which is more than half a minute faster than Carrera GT which in this track is slower even from the GT-R!

carbon fiber on cars was originally used to make the car lighter. compared to the material on the average car (like a honda or ford) it isn't as strong (yes the car can take alot of racing and the body is stronger than fiber glass) but it isn't super strong. german cars are usually high proformance and not as reliable as other cars (more reliable than a lamborghini or a ferarri) but carbon fiber can easily crack. it does not have the density of metal.

true...some german cars are more reliable than a saab or a toyota. but for an example a volkswagon jetta (well the previous generation wasnt good) like a 90's one and a cheap porsche (not the better ones like a 911 or a 959,or a porsche above $40,000. like one that you can buy for under $10,000 are not so reliable (cool cars)also some cars are just in great care and can last up to 80 years (like the ancient mercedes) but most german cars last around 5-7 years.

we have the previous gen Jetta, (2005), ... and it's the most reliable car that we have...the cadillac is just ridiculous, and the nissan has been reliable as well, but yesterday it broke down because it hydrolocked..250k miles...you'd expect some problems..but even american cars last longer than 5-7 years... if you take care of a good german car, it will be faithful to you...Lexus (toyota) used to take old mercedes, and take them apart to figure out how to manipulate the mechanics...

It is if you are in a high speed accident because it disperses all of the energy instead of transmitting all that energy to the driver. That is the reason all IRL cars are built around a cockpit of kevlar that the driver sits in. In a serious accident at around 170-180 mph the driver has a better chance of surviving and in some cases walking away from the accidnet as opposed to the older cars where all that energy was transferred to the driver resulting in a fatality.
