@sementechannel It's geared towards GNOME Shell Extensions. There was a Summer of Code student project working on a gedit extensions website, not sure how well he did.
Anyway, the site shown in this video is a very early demo. A real live deployment should happen very soon in the near future.
This project should cover other GNOME applications as well: Epiphany, Rhythmbox, Banshee, Nautilus...
