Thanks for posting this. I love this song, but have no idea who sang it. The "Zodiac" movie's credits have it listed as "Performed by 'Unknown' "... and Limewire, and other file-sharing music sites I use are ALL shut down now by COURT INJUNCTION for some perceived Copyright Infringements. Well... it's not copyright infringemnt unless it's SOLD or USED (for profit) WITHOUT PERMISSION. Sharing a song is NOT legally infringement. If u know who makes it, please hit 3X up. Thn3X !!!
it was so creepy the whole movie but the ending with this song i felt that the zodiac was in my house and it doesnt help when your little brothers are makeing foot steps lol
I agree that it was an awesome movie. But, they imply in the end that the assassin is Bob Starr (don't remember the real name). If you read Graysmith's book you can't conclude that he IS Zodiac, he is the best suspect but, alas... Reading that book it seems to me that there are two possibilities: that the actual Zodiac killed more than fifty that are somehow attributed to him; the second possibility, that he never existed, that it was a kind of scapegoat for unsolved crimes.
Whenever I hear this song I think of the goddamn monkey who stole the silver dollar out of my pocket then went scurrying back to that damn dago at the hurdy-gurdy. I got over there to get my coin back, and the thieving dago denied any knowledge of what had transpired. I beat the spaghetti out of that dago and got my face monkey-scratched and two days in jail for my efforts.
This song sounds like hippies playin' hacky sack with a bag of cats.
The movie was made even creepier by this song. I remember it from back then, and as then, the song still creeps me out ! Does anyone realize that when this ( The Zodiac murders) was going on, Manson was killing Sharon Tate and the rest of his victims?
and steve mcqueen threatened people with a chainsaw... anyone realize that ? So what lots of crazy stuff goes on your neigborhood that you will never know of, that was the point i got from that movie
@wecole51 Yes. These murders happened 1 year after my birth, and this saga continued well on, until I was about 10 or 11... and even into this decade. What a revolting development !!! Anyway... I say, kindly.... FUCK SERIAL KILLERS !!! There is nothing romantic about psychopathic killers. They were broken beings at birth, suffered a trigger which prompted their killing sprees, they want to be caught, and there is no cure for this level of psychosis.
Although wayyy before my time this song rocks--I love how David Fincher used it in the film esp. the beginning playing ominously in the background as Zode shoots his victims-'here comes the roly poly man singin' songs of love' hella creepy
Can i help you? ... No.

Donovan's Daughter plays the lady (with the baby) who "Zodaic" takes "for an interesting ride' (uncredited role). Weird coincidence?
