    1000 points from germany

    Thx for upload!!

  • MASTERPIECE of the 80ies

  • I can't believe this is here this my favorite song (a change from wire] this song would go with any movie or tv show from one tree hill to the sapranos to true blood,,, this is the soundtrack of my life,,, I swear,,, thank you soooo much for posting it

  • Excellent video for a phenomenal underground classic!!! I wouldn't trade ANYTHING for my many-years-cherished He Said discs!!! Never seen these videos - ultra cool!

  • Thanks for the video. I really like Gilbert and Lewis. I had to have He Said albums right after I heard their songs. Glad I did because they are hard to find. Great stuff from them.

Pink Flag was a good album but not as good as Ideal Copy and not as good as He Said albums. So Dark,Warm/Cold, and gooey.

  • I also like Lewis and Gilbert, and fund of Ideal Copy (and Ibtaba) but Pink Flag is also perfect in its way. WIRE is just brillant.

  • @erixoff

    Yes, i agree!!

  • At first I didn't really care for this song, but having finely found a copy of the album I'm really into it, and I'd recommend it to anybody who thinks Wire is more than the trashy Pink Flag.

  • I love this.makes me feel so calm. I have looked for this for sooo long. It will all be all right now. I know, I know back away from the ledge now.

  • I loved the whole album.

    I still have it somewhere.

  • does anyone know what the cover of this album depicts?

  • "You were straightening smiles" ... what a great line.

  • Excellent album ... first heard it back in 1991 and from the opening beat of the first track off of the Take Care album, "Watch Take Care", I was hooked.

Love Graham Lewis' deep voice. By the way, is there a video for the song "Watch Take Care"? If so, please post info on it here, or for that matter, post the video itself here on YouTube.

    Thank you,

  • The reason very few people have looked at this arresting and interesting video is because wire are not a "big" band in the vein of say, u2, bon jovi , rem etc, the fact that wire have had more creative energy and different guises in their history than the aforementioned bands combined does not translate into mass appeal. Its disheartening to see the over polished shit predominating but there are always diamonds in the sulphur-mine and this song is one of them.

  • which is one of the primary reasons i love Wire...not a single one of my friends or anybody i know has ever heard of them.

  • I admire how Wire uses Lewis and Newman's distinctive vocals respectively; they work really well together I think.

  • why doesn´t look anyone at this great video ? such a good heartbreaking song ! :´-)

graham lewis at his best :-))
