this will always be a fave with fans of cult classics u can argue what ever you want about it but i think its another brillian example of what the mind comes up with i do not think of this as a sequal...actually all the movies focus on the weird going ons that happen to the folks of denton so i like to think of them as stories

ruby wax is in this?! i really wish they had made Revenge Of The Old Queen into a movie, which is the real RHPS sequel, focusing on Magenta and Riff Raff after they leave earth... Shock Treatment just feels like a movie that should have never happened.

Honestly, I love this movie and I really don't care what other people say. This is probably one of the most overlooked movies ever and I really wished it didn't get so much hate, though I will admit I was a little disappointed to see that they didn't use the same Brad and Janet and that there was no Tim Curry!! D: I was really hoping for more Frankie!! I think that this movie probably would've done better on its own but either way I still think this is a good movie(: Shocky/Rocky forever!!(:

@TheMagentaPhoenix well I said the same thing about Tim Curry.But,she had the video on VHS so I was reading when I saw Richard O'Brien I kept reading.I then saw Patricia Quinn and then Nell Campbell.I got my hopes up and saw..no Tim Curry.I said to my friend "Tim Curry isn't in here!" and she said "He died in the last one." and I'm like "I don't care!They couldv'e like revived him or something!"yeah I was dissapointed too :(

I was definitely born in the wrong decade, so much that I hold dear was made in the the years shortly after my birth. I'm just glad we have the technology today to allow me to see and hear some of what I missed at the time due to logical age restraints.

It's nowhere near as good as Rocky Horror, but it's still a fun movie and the songs are great.

I always say it's worth a viewing.

First time I watched this I was like; WTF is this? Where's the sexy aliens? Second time it was; meh, it's OK. It'll never beat rocky though, and Brad sounds more like a girl then Janet. @tomyazvids Really common technique when humanising a crowd. They just zoom into the middle few people, so you can see they have faces (ie. they aren't nobodies). Used in this case I assume because we're supposed to appreciate Denton as the paradise its made to be, rather than the dystopia is pretty much is.

The sound drop is awfull to let you focus on Brad to let you feel like him, he is not in the same groove as everyone it makes you feel distance from everyone else just like brad feels.

i was at the opening of this in Boston at the sack 57 theater with all of the rocky horror cast and followers and everybdy hated it. people booed at the end.

@ilove63000 chacters dont look the same cause they're different actors (thogh some of the orginal cast are still in this under different roles) as for the alternate time line, this is a spin off of t RHPS and after Brad and Janet get married, hope this helps :)

What amuses me is that this is supposed to be a sequel to RHPS; when the castle was transported back to Transexual in the first film, Janet, Brad and Dr Scott were left without memories of their night with Furter and the transylvanians. It amazes me how nobody but an extreme fangirl/boy like myself would know that... thank you for posting though :)

@dazlok23 Definitely after. Betty and Ralph were married in the beginning of TRHPS. Also, Judge Oliver Wright recognises Brad and Janet from something unexplained (as he was the narrator of Rocky Horror, it seem a safe bet they left his prior knowledge as a kind of B-sequel satire).

On the back of my DVD case, it says "PG". It seems correct; I do not recall any nudity, foul language, or anything sexual in it (I consider the "bedroom scene" with Cosmo & Nation to be... sensual).

Umm... region 2? I'm not sure what you mean by that. lol I bought it off of eBay from the US (I live in Canada). I've never seen it in stores, but I've read in the comments sections on other Shock Treatment videos that people have found them in the "cheap bins" at Wal-Mart.

Region 2 is what UK and Europe DVDs are encoded as. In other words, a Region 2 DVD will ONLY play on DVD playes in the UK and Europe while the US and Canada have Region1 DVDs

Sadly the UK doesnt have the DVD on it's own, it's bundled with Rocky Horror, but try Ebay anyway, there should be some floating around.
