@355sle my 355 blew a rod bearing at 3 grand on the freeway built by active performance after 40 thousand kays 10k down the drain never raced i only wish it would have put out 320 horse more like 200 nothing but problems with engine those guys are cunts.

The Windsor is torquey by nature but with the mods it produced 437ftlb @ 4250rpm with 85% of that available from 2600rpm.

I have since added a Kenny Bell positive displacement blower and blew the doors of the thing. It now produces 678ftlb @ just 2600rpm so is a touch bloody twitchy.

Truth is small block Fords (not current) have always produced better torque than the Holdens which rely on revs, and torque wins races!!

I grabbed an injected 302 from an AU with 220kms om it, bolted on some well dressed Pro Topline allys, a decent solid roller, exhaust, cold air and tune and pulled 339.6 at 28 degree ambient temp.

Pretty pissy results from the 355 stroker!!

Sounds like you have a nice setup but I bet this stroker has more torque than yours

of course , i know this 355 has stock heads and bugger all timing in it. and makes a tad under 1100 in tourque.

plus they backed out 1400 rpm before peak rpm
