Maybe I'm a stickler, but I find labelling the Slackers a ska band kinda unfortunate and pigeon-holes them. Not because there's anything wrong with ska (I love it), but because they're so much more. Truly one of the great bands around. Like the deejay says "ska, rocksteady, soul, old time rock n roll..." and not to mention reggae and dub.
