the defender is a famous chinese player named ding song during the 90s. he was part of the winning world championship team. he uses short pips on his backhand and his chops are very decieving with different degrees of spin. his service was also one of the best as during the 90s he would confuse his opponents with his extreme underspin serves and spinless serves dat look exactly the same. his counterattack was excellent as well.

Brilliant piece of Topspin Vs Backspin.

Let me kill the debate by saying that Topspin and backspin r equally difficult to return but vth the right technique both can be cut early 2 gain advantage over opponent.

Topspin can be killed by moving closer to the table & shutting down the angle of the bat early else Topspin can be attacked vth Topspin and can be defended with a Backspin.

Same concept can be applied for a backspin return.

In either case U need to have the right technique & skill.
