  • can you carry a whole console? like xbox360 in your backpack?

  • This is awesome! Just the vid I needed to see before a long travel. Thanks for the great tips!

  • Airlines should charge by the pound, with some leeway based on height. If you're within a generally normal weight range for your height, you should be charged less and allowed to take more baggage than somebody your same height but 100lbs fatter.

  • @silvermediastudio There's no way that could ever offend anyone(!!), especially people genetically prone to being heavier, pregnant women, someone who isn't fat but has a lot of muscle weight etc.

Sorry but you haven't thought this through.

  • @irishpolyglot In an airplane weight = fuel = dollars. The physics doesn't care if weight comes from genetics, babies, muscles, baggage. It's all weight. Pregnant women rarely fly and they are rarely more than 40# heavier even at full-term so it's not a big swing. Same for the very muscular, they are rarely more than 50# heavier. Genetics? Have a Doc sign off, maybe get an exception. Who cares about offending anyone? Flying isn't a right.

    Next?

  • @silvermediastudio

I weight 65 Kilos - why cannot I take 35 Kg if the FAT FUK next to me weighs + 100Kg just by himself (and he is smelly and he is too hot, and he's taking both fukking armrests and I am scared I can't get over him when I have to get out of the plane in an emergency landing)

I think he should pay for my fukking luggage allowance - fat fuks should be banned !!!!

  • @WaveyDavey007 Agreed, that was my original point.

  • @WaveyDavey007 There would be a significant problem with sex discrimination if an average woman were given a greater baggage allowance than an average man.

  • Love that pesky towel solution. I already did everything in your vid but always ended up without a towel.

Now I'm sorted thanks to YOU Irishpolyglot!

  • @starzus Excellent :D

  • @irishpolyglot HILARIOUS and multifarious!

  • absolutely brilliant. I laughed myself silly. You are a true gem, uma perla além de preço.

    fkzd

  • LOOOOLL, so funny and creative (both execution + packing tips).

I laughed at the end, shouting :"AS A TURBAN!!" That would be it!! :-))

PS: It would double as a blanket on the plane...lol...

  • @chocolatepoundcake Haha a turban could work too, but I prefer superman - everybody loves superman :P

  • what did the gaurd people say

  • @aryneel They never say anything ;) They only care about liquids and weapons

  • that is amazing it would have taken me years to figure that out

  • "Tricks of the Mind" - good book....

  • cool but did you know you can also take a laptop bag or purse with your carry on. ive gon on trips where i bring the max size luggage and a back pack and when they ask i just say its for my laptop and camera things and they have always let me go. idk about international fights but i figure its the same.

  • @LunchBawx No you can't. Not in most airports nowadays. One bag only. There are exceptions, but not enough to make that a useful solution to most people.

  • @irishpolyglot well i live in Hawaii and i get no problems it works and ive traveled a lot and just went to japan and then to guam. yet to have a problem with security

  • @LunchBawx @irishpolyglot Well thanks to your post i ordered a jaktogo and have used it two times and had no problems with ryanair as they have agreed that they could not stop anybody takeing a coat even if it is also a luggage bag'' that was their reaction in three Dutch newspapers from last week'' so again thanks to you and to Check it out

  • @irishpolyglot

What ‘s your opinion on the jaktogo I’m surprised you haven’t given us any news over it’’ after all it is an Irishman that invented it’’ well done Ireland the land of Ryanair’’ king of the budget air lines '' are you thinking of gitting one 'please do and try it out and let us know''

  • @irishpolyglot

I take a bag and a carrier bag full of sweets, nesquick powder, HP sauce and all sorts of stuff can't get here - every time I come back from UK and I've used cheap and less cheap and NO PROBLEMS EVER !!! They just care about fuking toothpaste etc. !!

  • hi im flying with thomson in a few days do you know the weight limits of the hand baggage im planning on taking a backpack so i think it would be ok size wise

  • i have to say, u r a dork, but pretty funny. cute tips.

  • Awesomeness, why didn't I think of that lol!

  • these are great tips i always backpack just like that no point of checking luggage people could save a lot more money on their vacations if all they did was just did pack a backpack but for some reason people like to check luggage not me though

  • Bravo Benny! Tá na leideanna sin fíorúsáideach. Mi piacono moltissimo tutti questi video que hai fatto. I bet Michael O'Leary will start wearing his bathtowel on his back now too!

  • I should add that this is much more important nowadays; I did this all the time with Ryanair, but technically they never really checked me; it was just getting through security. Now they make sure that your bag fits in the space and that you don't have a second bag (including Duty Free!!!!!) AS YOU GET ON THE PLANE.

I applied these methods and several others, that I'll share in another video some day, a few weeks ago moving house with all my stuff from Ireland to Prague, flying Ryanair :)

  • how long did it take you to get through the security check, with all that stuff in your pockets?

  • I've got some good practise, so I can take everything out in 10 seconds, and I don't hold the queue up at all :D Keep in mind that everything in your jacket pockets can stay there since you are taking your jacket off anyway. I usually have big items (like books) in my trouser pockets since they come out quicker, and smaller items (keys etc.) in my jacket pockets, just when passing through security.

As I take my jacket off, the towel comes with it of course.

  • or just get an old woman 2 pack 4 u

  • Could be quite embarrasing with the towel around your shoulders in case you are told to undress at check-in ...

  • Haha, I 've done something similar. I only wished I had brought an ekstra bag to put all these items in when on the plane. It's a little uncomfortable with everything in your pockets. And hot with two sweaters and two t-shirts under the jacket. You can't bring batteries onboard now which confuses me a bit regarding laptops, camera, cellphone, porable dvd players and portable games..Anyone know the rules?

  • wow

    did you really do that?

    haha good idea :)

  • sin sár-smaoineamh leis an tuáille!

  • bless

  • Oh, I love your videos, man! So you're a hit, huh?!

    xOxO from BRAZIL

  • hahahaha, funny... great actually!!

    hehe

  • hahaha nice idea. NOT

  • hahaha excellent comment. NOT

  • HA HA HA hahaha nice.

  • wouldn't that be uncomfortable for the long flight?

  • Please read previous comments. This is only necessary when going through security. You can put your things in the overhead compartment once you board the plane.

  • What camera did you use to film that? you know, the one you said you would bring on your trip?

    Great tips BTW.

  • i travel alot and this does work..the only problem i have when i do this is i hate stuffing my pants with items other then my cell phone wallet smokes and a lighter..but other then that good stuff nice pack lol

  • Great idea unless you're travelling somewhere hot. Then you'll sweat like a horse and stink.

  • I WAS travelling somewhere hot - Slovakia in the summer time. The jacket is just my "second handluggage" case. I only wear it when going through security and it comes off and goes in a plastic bag once I'm through ;)

  • One last thing you might add....

Stuff a laundry bag in your pocket and once in flight take off all those layers if you get uncomfortable!

    Happy travels and safe adventures!

  • excellent tip!! I usually just have a plastic bag that I dump everything into immediately after passing security. They don't care as you are getting on the plane, they presume it's stuff you bought in Duty Free ;)
