Disgusting. Boxer is incredible - trying to push this healthcare takeover on Americans. These politicians want to control everything we do and it's just wrong.
I agree with Barbara Boxer... to help fight world hunger, governments must subsidize abortions for those who cannot afford one. The great Communist philosopher and leader MaoTseTung spoke about the need for these kinds of governmental controls. After its needed mass exterminations, China finally settled on a two-child limit per couple to stabilize its population growth. Barbara Boxer's views would also have been supported by Russian humanitarians Lenin and Stalin. Go Barbara!
@SOC: to "choose to have or not have a child" is a way to soften the reality of what we are really talking about, and that is, extermination of some entity in society. For Stalin it was a choice to eliminate a certain class of people to reduce a perceived threat. For Hitler, it was a percieved necessity to exterminate the Jews, .. again for the common good. Sometimes, societies choose to exterminate some inconvenient part of their society and they find ways to justify it, just as we do.
And just like Stalin and Hitler you would wish to impose and enforce your views upon every women and take away their opinions and rights to their own bodies.
@Pears1944 I do not impose views on anyone. I support Barbara Boxer and the need to exterminate certain elements of the society like was necessary for Hitler and Stalin. I am in the US for some time from Russia. There it was necessary to kill for the common good as it is here. I am only saying that the right of choice is no different than other exterminations in history. Those who did the exterminations justified them, like here it is "right for woman to choose".
@Pears1944 I am here to study and enjoy learning about American culture and do not want to offend anybody. I am expressing view from outside without
cultural baggage. Why do many Americans support abortion but put the sugar-coating of "right to choose" on it. Accept the abortion as extermination for common good. To me it looks like denial to do something and call it something else, like a right. Barbara Boxer works for common good and has the courage to make the difficult decisions.

Wow. Fighting for women to have the choice whether or not to have a child is, in fact, the exact opposite of the controls imposed in China.
Michelle Bachman called, she wants her crazy back.
