Gene Hoglan does a much better job in the band, and yeah I'm sure you're right i'm probably not as clean/powerful/consistent but he could do a lot more. @ccase2k Well triggers aren't necessarily used because your feet move at a certain speed. It helps clarify the bass drum through all the other things going on in the song. If its done right you won't hear so much click. You just gotta know how to equalize your natural bass sound and the triggers together.
