@divineagent Unfortunately flight sticks << mouse and keyboard in BF3.The automatic cannon takes time to get used to, but is the most efficient jet weapon. @zszs100 Hey m8. The in-game sensitivity is kinda hard to deal with, I ALWAYS keep it around like 1/6 full or something. The things i do tamper with is the mouse sensitivity outside the game. I found this awesome and not too expensive gaming mouse from Logitech which gives you a lot of options, for instance an option to set several levels of sensitivity, and then switching between them with a simple click on either +/- That has helped me A TON
@DanishPoliceMods this was on conquest, my favourite battlefield gamemode. There are jets in rush aswell, but they aren't equipped with afterburners and have less maneuvrablity.
I think that you"ll unlock rockets after you level up your jet 3 or 4 levels... (( by using the jet to kill or destroy other vehicles you can level up your jet ))
@KaiserPein Yea, try to go as slow as possoble when shooting at small ground targets or vehicles, it wont raise your accuracy, but give you more time to kill them. Glad you liked the video :)

I was playing last weekend and decided to try and start practicing the jets and earn some unlocks (i've hardly used jets and helos as theres always a lot of people fighting to use them).
So I went on Conquest due to the larger number of aircraft (2 jets and 1 attack helo on most maps I think). Out of the 8 games I played, 5 games had enemies who used the Jets and attack helo to baserape my teams runways or carriers. Its pathetic.
no matter what i do, i can't kill people with the machine gun on the jet. no matted how much i shoot someone in normal/hardcore the will not die, then i get taken out in 2 seconds. So i can't unlock the heat seekers and i need help :/...

@tayyyarciko@tayyyarciko It's most likely not the RAM, as u rarely use even 4GB if i'm not mistaken. I think your problem lies with the 1GB 5670, if you wanna solve the low framerate, simply lower the graphics or look for an upgrade

The problem I have with jets is that when i follow someone i always hit hit like 4-5 times and then he escapes me but if I get shot i always like go to 20% hp instantly and cant fly because my wings are damaged and stuff its so bad!!!
Best way to learn is to wait until 3:00am when almost no one is online, go on a rush map with plane, just fly around for a bit, then think about a place on the map you know where it is well, then shoot a targets while doing strafing runs across the map, that's how I became the ace I am today
How the fuck do you turn on a dime like some jets do, im always getting chased by jets and they always are flying than all of a sudden on my air radar they are turned around in a snap and i can never get away its so fucking irritating. HELP!

@myfunkychannel No, you maintain cruise speed, but that's really slow and makes you vulnerable, so stick with pressing W except during the turns ;) (brake during the turns using "S")
@jbcool, I don't know if anyone's answered. I plaqy on XBox, and you earn missiles AND flares. At least on XBox, once you have missiles you switch by pressing Y.
@THATBATTLEFIELDDUUDE Yeah I tried out the sharp turn method. and it helped me a ton. i actually got some kills and went positive. I'm like 2 days new to BF3 anyway, and I used to fly the apache in BC2 with keys only. Flying with the mouse feels extremely awkward to me. The only problem with the jet, that I'm having, is that key movements are too sharp and it creates a problem when trying to accurate target someone, ground or air.
@jackjack565656 Yep, watching the entire video, and using braketurns vertically and/or horizontally. Also getting to your own base, but i prefer interception (as evasion) over flying towards your base lol :P

I was playing last weekend and decided to try and start practicing the jets and earn some unlocks (i've hardly used jets and helos as theres always a lot of people fighting to use them).
So I went on Conquest due to the larger number of aircraft (2 jets and 1 attack helo on most maps I think). Out of the 8 games I played, 5 games had enemies who used the Jets and attack helo to baserape my teams runways or carriers. Its pathetic.

no matter what i do, i can't kill people with the machine gun on the jet. no matted how much i shoot someone in normal/hardcore the will not die, then i get taken out in 2 seconds. So i can't unlock the heat seekers and i need help :/...

Question to any one who knows my answer i play bf3 on xbox 360 n when i play rush on caspian border or kharg island on the american side they have the a10 thunderbolt and the russians have the frogfoot. note i only play rush . now my question is that when ever isee people flying on youtube why do they have f16 ? on the same maps i have??? please help thanks

@tayyyarciko @tayyyarciko It's most likely not the RAM, as u rarely use even 4GB if i'm not mistaken. I think your problem lies with the 1GB 5670, if you wanna solve the low framerate, simply lower the graphics or look for an upgrade

The problem I have with jets is that when i follow someone i always hit hit like 4-5 times and then he escapes me but if I get shot i always like go to 20% hp instantly and cant fly because my wings are damaged and stuff its so bad!!!

I got a serious problem with... The controlls I guess...
I can unleach the magnet thingys who disable the missilelock.
I like spam the "x" buttom, nothing happens, and *boom* *dead*...
And I can't change weapons to Missiles or "ground bombing".
And I have no Idea how to look on the side without make the plane turn.

Best way to learn is to wait until 3:00am when almost no one is online, go on a rush map with plane, just fly around for a bit, then think about a place on the map you know where it is well, then shoot a targets while doing strafing runs across the map, that's how I became the ace I am today

How the fuck do you turn on a dime like some jets do, im always getting chased by jets and they always are flying than all of a sudden on my air radar they are turned around in a snap and i can never get away its so fucking irritating. HELP!

@myfunkychannel No, you maintain cruise speed, but that's really slow and makes you vulnerable, so stick with pressing W except during the turns ;) (brake during the turns using "S")

@jbcool, I don't know if anyone's answered. I plaqy on XBox, and you earn missiles AND flares. At least on XBox, once you have missiles you switch by pressing Y.

@THATBATTLEFIELDDUUDE Yeah I tried out the sharp turn method. and it helped me a ton. i actually got some kills and went positive. I'm like 2 days new to BF3 anyway, and I used to fly the apache in BC2 with keys only. Flying with the mouse feels extremely awkward to me. The only problem with the jet, that I'm having, is that key movements are too sharp and it creates a problem when trying to accurate target someone, ground or air.

@jackjack565656 Yep, watching the entire video, and using braketurns vertically and/or horizontally. Also getting to your own base, but i prefer interception (as evasion) over flying towards your base lol :P

@MobileHelghast12 Well, battlefield is not for everyone. I consider it the best FPS ever made, perhaps I'm a fanboy i don't know, but the least thing you can call my fellow swedes is lazy. I think you're a bit lazy yourself, as anyone can get good at flying jets. But hey I can't tell you what to do, but I suggest giving it another go, perhaps joining servers named "flight school" or something like "noob playground" so you don't get killed all the time.

@THATBATTLEFIELDDUUDE actually im over this i just used the borswer and picked a server with noone and flew jets bymyself and got good at it and people latrer joined and i got some kills. the only thing i think is dumb is how you can spawn right into the jet when i waited like 5 min for it to spawn and someone camps out in the spawn menu and gets in it beofre it even shows up either way im having a blast with this game now
