Might be going this summer. First hiking trip alone or at least without parents, there any place to do some beginner rock climbing. And stuff should i bring with me. Ill be going during the summer
@IAMTHECAKEdotORG I hope you do get the chance to go, have a wonderful time!!
Bring the obvious, water, good hiking shoes, and a camera......if you are entering the park from one of the entrance points each day (not staying within the park) get there as early as possible....what I remember were the long lines of traffic waiting to get inside. Allow at least 3 days to explore park, hopefully you'll be able to stay more than a week....so much to see and never enough time :)
@LFCEOIN She was obviously COMPLETELY wrong. An eruption of the YS caldera is FAR from the apocalypse, the ash would kill many and wipe out a few towns, but it wouldnt be THAT bad...
@briczar22 The bison were incredible!! No fear of the public, in fact they were walking across the road, alongside cars, ...hahaha!!....I even saw one stand right in front of a car, staring intently at the driver and kinda snorting like it was tempting a duel...haha!
i really wanna go here ! its soo pretty , & it's wierd ( in a good way) if you know what i mean . The volcanoes, geysers, and the animals. & the way the mountains and the landscape is , is soo beautiful. ♥
I was there a year ago last sept, and several other National Parks (see above video response) ........ pictures and video just give a tiny hint as to how amazing and beautiful Yellowstone is.....
@joust671 Its supervolcano and when it go's 80% of The US will be under ash the world will change and a lot will die but it should not happen in are time.
I saw a Tom Brokaw special a couple of weeks ago about Yellowstone. He said about 90% of Yellowstone hardly ever see see tourists. My wife and I are planning our trip now. We want to hike through the Lamar Valley and hopefully hear the howling of wolves.I have heard and seen wild wolves in Minnesota's Boundary Waters. It was the thrill of a lifetime.
@legodudeok9 I filmed it myself back in 2007 with my little canon camera, I've since bought an HD, which I love, and filmed "Summer Enchantment".....you can notice a remarkable difference in picture quality.
@silverkenon HA HA!! Funny you should mention that. I purchased a book on Deaths at the Grand Canyon. Guess I had a morbid curiosity, I found the stories quite interesting. One that sticks out, was the story on the actress/model posing by the edge who fell over and some who actually drove their car into the canyon. What a way to go!
Yellowstone is simply the most amazing, rugged, and enchanting place I have ever been. The music in this video really complements the beauty of this terrain and wildlife. My regret with regard to Yellowstone is that I was 36 years old before I finally visited. I cannot wait to return. I went in June of this year and camped inside the park for about a week at Norris Campground. I will never forget it.
@econodog Yes, I didn't go until I was in my 30's too. I agree it is an amazing place. How was your camping experience? I heard about the bear attacks this Summer, were you concerned? When I filmed the bear by the side of the road, there was a Ranger close by telling people to get into their cars. I just ignored him and grabbed my camera, in afterthought that was pretty stupid, bears can be unpredictable. But it was one of those moments I couldn't pass up.
people...our planet is such a wonderful and beautiful place to live on, so y r we hurting it. lets keep our planet save, so our grandchildren can see the beauty of planet earth huh.
@DelisaProductions We did Old Faithful, Mt. Washburn and the Grand Canyon. It was incredible. The North entrance of Yellowstone had some breath-taking vistas. Coming from New York City, YNP was almost like a beautiful, magnificent, alien world.

As a matter of fact there is a book called "Death in Yellowstone: Accidents and Foolhardiness in the First National Park" which should tell one all they need to know about respecting the wildlife, and rules in the park ......
@Gam3Junkie No, its not cheesy. I absolutely agree with you. Can you imagine waking up in the morning to a geyser erupting or a herd of bison crossing your backyard.....hahahaha!! The Walt Disney World for naturalists.
Can't wait to go there next year in June. I'm already reading up about Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton park. I wish I could go there often but since I live in Philly, I can only go once a year.
Did you see wolves cause clicked this video to see some wolves in yellowstone (Beacuse i have never been there) and i wondered but awesome video anyways! :3
Fantastic video. Can't wait to go back. For those who are interested, the last big eruption was 640,000 years ago. The last time I was there was in 2009 and the rangers said they are keeping a close watch. Many earthquakes every day, although most of them are not felt. It is an awe inspiring place to visit. Nature at it's best.
Lisa, I watched this four times trying to figure out what is "dislike-able" about it and couldn't figure it out. We just returned last night from two days at Jackson Hole and two at Yellowstone's Old Faithful Inn. Truly spectacular experience - filled with wildlife not commonly seen, even here in Colorado. Bison, deer, antelope, elk, moose, sheep, grizzly bear, blue birds, marmots, beavers, fox etc., etc. Anyone who has not been to Yellowstone should put it high on their bucket list. The Old Faithful Inn (100-year old log cabin style hotel) right next to the Geyser was superb. You will love it!

The most incredible thing in the park is the abundant piles of dog vomit you can find all over the place. It is surely difficult to pry our enormous American asses from out our various vehicles, but I assure you it will be worth your grunting wheezing effort once you realize that reality is there for you

This is the number one place I want to visit in my life. No use staying in your own country in your own narrowminded life, you should go and see the world before you die! Love the music <3 it´s nice to see there are still places in the world where the people havn´t changend everything yet. ( could you tell me what the song is called ) nice video,,,,.,
don't recall seeing this video before. i have this music in my collection. i would love to go to this place. it sure has gotten many views. i went to the nature preserve this weekend coz the weather was so great and had a picnic and walked the trails. last time i took a vaction was 2001. i am self-employed. i really should make time to travel. all the good stuff to see in the world and not experiencing it.
@ytapple16 I'm sure it's pretty busy during tourist season. I think most stay by the road and film, so you can get wonderful footage (people-free) There are probably huge areas of the park that are restricted from the public, I don't know for sure. When I was there the only people I saw, stuck to the hiking trails, and the traffic on the roads. Beautiful place, I hope you get the chance to visit one day.
@ytapple16 Theyre are roads and campgrounds. They do a good job at keeping the people off areas they want protected while letting them go to others. Its a big park. Covers 3 states
@WeAreND15 - no one has ever been alive during an eruption, so we don't know how it will erupt. Probably will have earthquakes, but we already have lots of earthquakes there. Probably won't be able to tell the difference until it's already too late. :D
@gretchel321 wouldn't you rather die quickly from the actual eruption then starve to death when the ash cloud blocks out the sun and makes it so all crops die?
@ronny4ever123 Wouldn't you rather commit suicide now than to get older and die alone, sick and weak?? What a dumb question of yours, secondly has nothing to do with my previous question *rolling eyes*
@gretchel321 sigh, another idiot has entered youtube. Your logic makes no sense, the analogy you just threw out at me has very little to do with anything first of all. And secondly, do you even know how painful it is to be starving? It's probably exactly like being sick and weak, but a thousand times worse. What I mean is, if it were to errupt, I would much rather be there. And why should we close it to the public? It's the most beautiful place ive ever seen, I think I would be happy dieing ther
@gretchel321 Good question, with all the technology we have today, there are devices set up, monitoring all underground activity. But think about it, ....when did danger ever stop man from exploring? Have you been to Yellowstone? If not, I hope fear won't keep you from seeing this beautiful place in your lifetime.
@DelisaProductions Also it can burst like this year or the next but it can also still take like 200 years before it errupts. You probably have more chance dying because the airplane that flies you there crashes then because of a erruption at the moment your visiting the park :)
@gretchel321 They go because it is absolutely beautiful. It is worth every second, and the fact doesn't really cross your mind about the volcano. Anyways, if the volcano blows, life on Earth will cease to exist anyway following the climate effect of the ash cloud which will encompass the globe. Would there be a better way to go surrounded by the endless beauty of nature that world has to offer. It supposedly will not erupt anytime soon. No worries and go there!
@PepsiAddict9 I know i have to stretch my mind to encompass the vast sea of ignorance that you swim in, but do you really believe that this one volcano will take out all life? I mean, it has spewed forth with a vengeance many times before, and it seems we are still extant. I would suggest that you are intended to be my sex slave, and you have somehow misdirected that impulse into odd speculation about Yellowstone. Just tell me that you will give yourself to me without reservation. later
@gretchel321 actually it only goes off like every 10-100,000 years or something, so i think youre okay. im going there for the first time this summer so im excited
This place is simply beautiful. Although most people tend to do all of the touristy things, I would highly recommed getting away from society and trying some hikes. There are many hikes to choose from, ranging from easy to difficult, but it is by far the best way to see this amazing place!
Absolutely love what you've done here putting this music with the awesomeness of Yellowstone! Making me homesick.... : } Keep up the great work so that people that have not had the honor of seeing these most wonderful of places can get a glimpse and those that have seen it can relive those moments!!!! Wado
@WeAreND15 I work there, and I can honestly say that most people there rather have the fact that we'll go fast while the rest of the world suffocates or goes through a nuclear winter. :D
I have saved this to my opening YT pg. Also sending to FB to all my friends. This is indeed a magical place I've had the ultimate life experience and pleasure visiting numerous times in my life. Always looking forward going back each year. Have seen it all here, but each visit gives new meaning and grandeur to a place so close to everyone living in the US. I adore this video and what Yellowstone means to me, Great tribute!~Cal
There's something so enchanting and pure about true wilderness. I live in UK and we really don't have anything like that over here. I hope to one day visit this amazing place though.
From a Montanan's point of view I like both parks, there's more to see in Yellowstone and a lot of it you can get to driving though. But I love Glacier National Park, way more breath taking but to see everything you better get ready for a good hike. :P
im 13 now but when i grow up my dream job is to be a national park ranger..i still dont know what national park to go to but i think i like this one it looks breath taking
@allAMERICANjedi I'm 12 right now and I've been planning, since I was... around 7, to be a wolf biologist... It's a dream that has to happen... I wanna visit this place too! It looks so beautiful... sucks to live on long island...
@chaoluv041 i havent been planning this for that long, well since i was ten at least. Ever since i saw a documentary on national parks and its history, its inspired me to become a park ranger... and i want just leave Missouri and go live in yellowstone.. peace and quiet sarounded by nothing but nature
12 people are lazy assholes who dont like true nature and stay in a big city on the television getting themselves fat instead of exploring the world. Nice video :)

DelisaProductions 10 months ago
@DelisaProductions Hey, I am going to fly there in 2 days could you give me any "tips" where it is "people free"?
Giants544 6 months ago
@ytapple16 In the summer months its crawling with tourist; not as bad as Yosemite though. Best go in the march-may or sept-oct time frame.

yellowvalley 11 months ago
If the Yellowstone underground super volcano is active, why do they let people go there? isn't it dangerous?
gretchel321 11 months ago
@gretchel321 wouldn't you rather die quickly from the actual eruption then starve to death when the ash cloud blocks out the sun and makes it so all crops die?
ronny4ever123 11 months ago
@ronny4ever123 Wouldn't you rather commit suicide now than to get older and die alone, sick and weak?? What a dumb question of yours, secondly has nothing to do with my previous question *rolling eyes*
gretchel321 11 months ago
@gretchel321 sigh, another idiot has entered youtube. Your logic makes no sense, the analogy you just threw out at me has very little to do with anything first of all. And secondly, do you even know how painful it is to be starving? It's probably exactly like being sick and weak, but a thousand times worse. What I mean is, if it were to errupt, I would much rather be there. And why should we close it to the public? It's the most beautiful place ive ever seen, I think I would be happy dieing ther
ronny4ever123 11 months ago
@gretchel321 Good question, with all the technology we have today, there are devices set up, monitoring all underground activity. But think about it, ....when did danger ever stop man from exploring? Have you been to Yellowstone? If not, I hope fear won't keep you from seeing this beautiful place in your lifetime.
DelisaProductions 10 months ago
@DelisaProductions Also it can burst like this year or the next but it can also still take like 200 years before it errupts. You probably have more chance dying because the airplane that flies you there crashes then because of a erruption at the moment your visiting the park :)
DJMetalstone 10 months ago
@gretchel321 They go because it is absolutely beautiful. It is worth every second, and the fact doesn't really cross your mind about the volcano. Anyways, if the volcano blows, life on Earth will cease to exist anyway following the climate effect of the ash cloud which will encompass the globe. Would there be a better way to go surrounded by the endless beauty of nature that world has to offer. It supposedly will not erupt anytime soon. No worries and go there!
PepsiAddict9 8 months ago
@PepsiAddict9 I know i have to stretch my mind to encompass the vast sea of ignorance that you swim in, but do you really believe that this one volcano will take out all life? I mean, it has spewed forth with a vengeance many times before, and it seems we are still extant. I would suggest that you are intended to be my sex slave, and you have somehow misdirected that impulse into odd speculation about Yellowstone. Just tell me that you will give yourself to me without reservation. later

This place is simply beautiful. Although most people tend to do all of the touristy things, I would highly recommed getting away from society and trying some hikes. There are many hikes to choose from, ranging from easy to difficult, but it is by far the best way to see this amazing place!

From a Montanan's point of view I like both parks, there's more to see in Yellowstone and a lot of it you can get to driving though. But I love Glacier National Park, way more breath taking but to see everything you better get ready for a good hike. :P
