i have a coupe version of it, and let me tell you is an awsome car, nowdays people look back again those car more than the new version of it if you can say new version of it right after the last version of this corolla it came a slender or slim version, but guess what? it was front wheel drive!!! WTF!!! there are couple of guys here where i live that change the entire wheel base to a 1987 version.

Yeah the not fun to drive, harsh riding Scion Tc replaces the Toyota Celica. And what about the mid/front engine coupe market the MR-2 and Supra filled so beautifuly. Yeah the Matrix, Corolla XRS and Solara so do the job. And they ruined the Lexus IS' sporty steering feel. Oh Toyota...

Toyota needs this car again, along with a few others - Celica, etc. They had such a diverse line-up in the 1980's, but not now. Guess the market has changed, but it would be cool to offer more than just mostly boring sedans & crossovers.

@bboysoy Not enough. They need a Supra and MR2 too. The FT-86 Isn't anything like a Corolla. The FT-86 should look like a Corolla but coupe and RWD. In japan they have a great line-up, many RWD cars.

@dudewtf1776 You're right- definitely an "affordable" Celica/Supra- < $23K/$30K respectively. The Mk. II (1982-1985) is my personal favorite, but the market has probably moved on. Always thought the "Apex" name was great too. Thanks for your feedback.
