Man!! I was gonna make something like this for the science fair project. Hopefully better. Im in 8th grade. Do you need to know a lot of math to build this kind of app???

@mglTeek Not really much to do with math but with values and etc. He used a little chip that does everything called an "arduino" chip and some extensions. There are tons of videos that can help you do C++ coding which is difficult but you're a kiddo so you can probably read up about it and little by little sharpen your skills and create amazing things using an arduino chip.

As far a random flashing LED's no problem man all you need are RGB LED, ohm resistors and a power source.
