The odd shaped face you are seeing is because of the pattern and its color. I have seen a few white deer and predominantly white patterned deer several times while hiking in northern ohio

It's a Piebald dear, as MissScratch pointed out. It's common Piebald deer to have "Roman noses". They can also suffer from scoliosis (where the spine is arching out at a more sharper angle), and an underbite. They are also of a shorter height compared to a regular deer.

The deer that has white with brown splotches may possibly be a Fallow Deer. Although, fallow deer are usually a bit smaller than the average whitetail.

I've seen a blue deer before. His back was a dark blue/grey color that of course got lighter down it's side and underside. No one believed me until 2 weeks later when someone else spotted him. He was a very large 4-point. Maybe he was just very old and had a lot of grey hair?

Some of the deer just looked like deer with blown coats that were getting ready to shed faded summer hair and replace with winter coat. But nice looking piebald genetics in the local herd, obviously in some cases. There wasn't anything wrong with the first deer's nose that could be told from the images.

This is no big deal, it happens quite regularly. I live in an area that is FULL of white tails, and every few years there will be an all-white deer. Sometimes they will be partial, half normal color & half white, sort of like a llama. Over the past 40 years I have lived here it is a pretty regular occurrence - not to say there's a lot of them, but out of 100 deer there will be an all-white one every 3-5 years or so. Just a genetic mutation, the deer survives well because no predators.

The white deer is just a genetic mutation. It doesn't benefit or harm the animal in any way. If the white deer were to reproduce it's offspring would be of a natural color. As for the white band and what not on the other deer, this is normal. How many animals do you see with different colored coats? Especially during this season, which looks like fall or spring. Just entering or leaving winter. White. It's an adaptation.

There are a TON of white deer in the Woods next to and near Argon National Laboratories here in Illinois. There are alot of other strange things/animals to be seen in those woods as well. Only one of the deers seem to interract with this "deer". They don't seem to ntice much, or ignore. Personally, i would class this as an Albino, or very young Llama, depending on where there found. Very intersting though.

its obvious that this is not an albino but what is actually known as a piebald deer.In this case it is a white tail deer.Piebald is slightly more common than true albino.What looks like a deformity on its face is actually a combination of its nose and brown hair against the white hair causing an illusion.

This seems like simple genetics to me. Everyone took Biology 12, right? Its like mixing cows. You have red cows, white cows, white and red cows or 'roan' cows. The colour variations are probably just from cross-breeding of colour or different species of deer inter-breeding. I would agree that the white deer did not appear to be albino. Instead it is possible that there was a genetic mutation that caused it to have inconsistent fur and an abnormal face.
