I followed all of the instructions and trimmed off the posts that u were talking about to literally nothing. I compared the Modified gun to my normal one and there was almost no difference at all. Any suggestions?

@weeeeeee you probably split the darts with the first shot. Try wrapping the darts with scotch tape that fixed the problem with mine.

but i see that the Maverick rev-6 uses the same mecanism that this gun uses . And my maverick did not last long...

It was getting weaker over time and today even fires anymore.

i wouldnt cut off the long strip because the dart wont have anything to hold on to and they will fall out so dont cut them off

Great vid, my gun shoots much farther!

I thought the dart would probably fall out when aimed down, but the spike that I took out seems to do nothing, and the dart is fine.

All you people who say they made you break your gun, you didn't have to mod it, and stupid people shouldn't do things they can't do. Thanks again!!!

I openned one of my hyperfire to remove the "air restrictor". I didnt cut the other part cause I didnt want to mutilate my gun ;d. Well the result is that the gun is louder and have a shorter range ...

So I put everything back in it, they both have the same range again now.

And btw, when you remove that kind of 'spikez', do the darts fall by themselve if the gun is aiming the ground ?

That's why it says "Do not modify darts or dart blaster" on the side of every gun.

That's because everybody who takes air suppressers out does it wrong. All you do is take out that little tri-point thing and the little spring. Do not clip off the little rod. Otherwise it shoots less hard and less accurate.

lol befor i saw this i moded it and it exploded! it lost the spring the pushed the thing up to lock the firing thing inplace until you pulled the trigger. i desided to use half of a pen spring and it works fine after i put it back apart but it is loud when i shoot it.

hey i gotta problem, its obviously my fault and not urs, but the trigger popped out, there a log skinny white piece that i think goes through the hole on the top of the trigger into a small spring, but it wont fit back into the spring, can u help?

its actually pretty pointless. If you lost it or whatever it won't make a difference. It's just used for like putting some sort of scope or something on it. But it goes on the very top like in a little slot that is on the thing that looks like it would hold a scope.

Make sure the plunger and everything that is supposed to be air-tight is air-tight. If air is seeping out it will cause annoying problems. If everything is ok, it should shoot farther (and be better for shooting little sibings) lol

That screw is a little bit smaller and it's really tight in there. Make sure you push hard with the screwdriver as your twisting it. but just make sure you don't strip the screw so you cant take it out

Yeah it makes it shoot alot farther. As long as you don't purposefully snap off a piece, it should all go back together. I did the first blaster as my first mod and barely had any problems with it. If you have any q's just comment and i'll try to fix it

Not really but it helps to reduce friction between the dart and blaster. And also, if you can clear the hole where the stick thing was, it will allow a little more air through
