  • "Con tu mirar" is the title of this vals. The version Osvaldo and Coca danced in this video had to be the Francisco Canaro one. Just listen to the Enrique Rodriguez version as well !!!

    Ottawa, Canada

  • Did you ever find out? It is Canaro, Con Tu Mirar

    Hi Alberto,

Of course it was Osvaldo, the very same, and the scene was disgustingly ugly. Since I was right there and saw the whole thing, I don't mind verifying what happened. I wanted the world to know how some tango superstars are actually despicable ego-maniacs and they shouldn't be held up as perfect.

So go ahead and do with the facts as you will.

    Saludos!

    Cherie Magnus

Some of the comments above in English - well, if you don't get the amazing subtlety and creative interpretation from Osvaldo & Coca while making this song come from the heart at the same time - then too bad its your loss.

    Grazie!!!

  • Man I love this video. That guy is fun and its a cute vals. I had to laugh at the c3po comment. This is a good example of how to dance a nice waltz in a very small space, which is probably the majority of the dancing that this couple does.

  • Ivan and Sara... You mean just another "Ken and Barbie" Tango? Are you sure they are really breathing? They look like "Show Tango/Forever Tango" clones a la Anton Gazonbeek, Richard and Colette, and about 85% of all competitors at the Mundial. Talk about painful things in tango - what about "global pain in the ass"?

  • What the hell is your problem, odetothecat and isophial? Is your vision of tango only limited to those straight-backed, stiff and anally retentive "Tango Salon" clones doing their swirly swirly feet robotically completely out of sync with the music before beginning to dance? Jeeze.

  • He dances like 3CPO. It might feel good to his partner, but it's kind of painful to watch.

Check out Ivan and Sara to see how people that are still alive do the vals.

  • wow chill out people. They just dance differently. Ivan and Sara are fantastic, though a little rough on the side of musicality at times. Osvaldo y Coco are dancing with so much calmness, playing little things with the music, though of course their techniques are not as classical as the dancers trained in dance schools. but hey, anyone would be happy to dance like them at their age!

Fenomenal.

  • Hello everyone,

Does anyone know the name and orchestra for this vals? I would greatly appreciate if someone could let me know! Thanks!

  • Vals: "Con tu mirar" - Francisco Canaro.

I believe the singer is Charlo.

    Thanks for the video.

  • Confirmo.

  • @MZ1959 Rodriguez also performed this vals, but this is the Canaro version - a little slower and (I think) sweeter.

  • @irenekyho con tu mirar by Canaro

  • @irenekyho "Con Tu Mirar" Enrique Rodriguez y su Orquesta & Armando Moreno

  • Osvaldo and Coca are simply wonderful! Thank you for posting this.
