Hey, my AT&T Quickfire recently broke, and I'm getting this phone. I am new to windows mobile and I heard that you can update the software by connecting it to your computer? Like to windows mobile 6.5 standard or something? Please respond with an answer.

I have a Mac but am getting a PC soon can I do the update on a Mac? Thanks.

@ut2k4mastr I don't believe there's a Windows Phone 6.5 update for this phone, so don't get it hoping for 6.5. With Windows Phone 7 devices coming out very soon, I'd suggest you wait for those...

I used to have a Pantech Duo (older version of this) and it was slow as anything! Is this any faster? the screen rotation is still slow I know, but how about opening the camera or messaging?

Yes, you can do that (assuming AT&T supports it), but via Bluetooth or via a cable.

I have an LG Rumor, got it the day it came out, and mine really lags behind when opening it to text. Sometimes I have to open it, then close it, then re-open it again and i will switch back & forth really fast to catch up on how many time I opened it. I think mine if defective because my boyfriends never does it.

Nice vid and nice looking phone but i find the same type of lag when switching between apps with my old ipaq 910. Sort of what made me go back to the palm centro.

Yeah, it's unfortunate but that lag is one of the persistent problems with almost all Windows Mobile phones.

I love having the space button on a separate row, just like a computer. That is one of the major downfalls with this phone. The qwerty keyboard feels very crammed, and those letter keys on the bottom row are, quite frankly, a pain to get to.
