It's something to do with the rights. MTV (or Viacom, anyway) still owns the rights to Beavis and Butthead, but they don't own the rights to this video anymore. Because of that, they can't play it.

@ColorsBright I think all music made in the last 30 years or so is automatically copyrighted for the lifespan of the creator + 70 years after they die, so it'll probably be considerably more than 30 years before this stuff becomes public domain. I don't know if the music videos are treated any differently.
