Excellent video Tom, iv'e not been on this train but i have travelled to Yaroslavl Region on the 'sleepy' trains :) i know you know what they are like, quite an experience. My wife who is from Danilov in Russia says 'spasiba!' Tom.
Enjoyed the vid, thanks. I did the trans-Mongolian recently going from Beijing to Moscow. The whole trip was from Japan to the UK by train (and boat), took a month.
@almanet I didn't come to that conclusion, it's a fact stated by the worlds geographical experts. Salt water but still a lake and the worlds largest. So, it's not ME that is wrong. I know bizarre snippets of knowledge that you couldn't even comprehend.
man, i had to write again..but i watched your video two times and I gotta say, not a lot of youtube "trip" videos can make me just chill back, and think about life when watching it. the choice of cinematic orchestra is a VERY FITTING decision. One day I hope to make this trip.
Absolutely wonderful clip, nicely edited, good music, photos and all in all very warm feeling. Ah im smiling here since my journey starts next Friday from Beijing.
Will be fun im sure and this sneak peak serves as a preview for me. 18 to 19 days of travelling through Mongolia and Russia. Really looking forward it.
Well done. You made me feel like I was on the trip. Good music, nice editing, enough personal touch mixed with images of the landscape and villages. Thanks.
Looks like a great way to go. I'd want to stop at some of the places for a day or so.
I guess the only thing I'd worry about is the lack of showers in the cars. Those beds must get dirty over time. Maybe I'd take some kind of bed & pillowcase liner, but they can't be any worse than some of the guest houses on Koh Sahn Road in Bangkok.
Not bad ...

I'm going to Japan, and would like to go back via Siberia on a train. But one month is ridicolously too long

And the Caspian Sea is world's largest lake.
MickeyLove01 2 years ago
A lake is always freshwater, and the Baikal lake is the deepest, not the biggest
marcblaak 2 years ago
wrong, a lake is NOT always freshwater, now go and read a little and return
