Zero dies in almost every game.But don't you just noticed that omega says:I am the Messiah!he says this cuz he is in the body of a messiah.He is in zero's original body.If you played mmz 3 you will know what i mean.
Wily is always high when coming to making Robots Masters, high enough that he would mistakenly create another hero to whoop his robot master's ass, xD
what i dont get is why when they obviously have the technology to make sleek and speedy not to mention strong humanoid robots Wily still choose to make some big clunky ones like Frost Man for example or most of the mini bosses and why don't they just put all the bosses and enemies in one lvl and kill anyone who even enters i know its a video game but damn hes stupid
@calliann1326 All of the songs Capcom released are remastered, so it's not a surprise when it sounds different from the original version. Only a few songs on all of the soundtracks are either unused or remixed.
@calliann1326 actually, this song is the credits theme for megaman zero 2. this theme here is a slight remix of the credits theme, but its pretty much the same thing.
Just hearing this song, it really makes zero seem like a great guy or robot lol. This is the type of song you hear when a hero dies and later he passes his legacy on to his companion or fellow friend and used the same kind of style the hero would do. Beautiful!

@EOCB Well I never found the entire manga. There is a Youtube video named Mega Man Zero 4 Rare and it has the last few pages with some of it translated. This is without a doubt the manga everyone is talking about, but it is actually a doujin and is not canon. I looked through every megaman site I could think of and there is only one official Manga for the Zero series listed and it has nothing to do with the one everyone here is talking about. Still, the art is very very good for a doujin.
Ok can someone explain something to me? After going through the comments it seems people are going on about Elipizo appearing at the end of the manga and saving Zero after Ragnarok crashes. However I cannot find this part in the manga and as far as I know there is only one manga adaptation of mega man zero and it is more of a parody of mega man zero and Elipizo isn't even in it. Does this manga even exist and if so does anyone know where I can find it?

Later Zero rejoins the resistance, resuming his relationship with Ceil.
They could have done so much more with this series! I was totally stoked to see Megaman Zero 5 until I saw that image at the end of 4. What's the point of intentionally ending a great selling series?

All the antagonists were dead, most of the high-key protagonists were dead as well, and all the loose ends had been resolved with the possible exception of what happened to the Mother Elf. Megaman X5 is the official canon ending of the X series. X6 was created without inafune's approval, so anything past X6 would be considered the "Non-canonical Timeline".
So essentially you're just stating what happens in one timeline. If you want my full opinion, then pm me or something so I can send you my written-up document on it (Made it like 2 years ago or so).
X6 doesn't count in the storyline because not only it screwed the storyline, but it also was released without inafune's permission.

And, yes, Zero doesn't die in MMZ4, as it is showed in the rare MMZ manga, Elpizo (in cyber elf form) revives Zero, since he didn't survive Ragnarok's fall.
umm chances are the rare MMZ manga you speak of is a doujin and is not canon mainly for two reasons.
1) The Mega Man Zero Official Complete Works guide states that Zero's status after MMZ4 is "unknown", so the rare MMZ manga cannot be canon otherwise the status would state he's alive
2) There is only one official MMZ manga series and believe me the manga you are talking about is not it. Also, if the rare MMZ manga is a doujin then that could explain why its so hard to find.
@mrzisawesome It has been announced years before even the PS2 was around and it was announced that X5 was supposed to be the final game in the series. X6, X7, X8, Command Mission, were not meant to be part of the original story line.
It's supposed to go from X5 to MMZ, so on and so forth.

X sacrifice his body to rid the world of the Sigma virus. Apparently Dr. Light already programmed an anti-virus in X's system to suppress the virus, when he was being made.
Funny since Zero is the root of the virus in the first place, and it's pretty confusing how Light managed to make an anti-virus for a program he didn't know existed.
So after X's body disappeared, his soul remained and became a Cyber Elf, which helps Zero in the Zero series.
If I recall correctly X sacrifeces his Body to seal the Dark elf since Wiel placed a curse on her, the Cyber elfes were used to end the Maverick war meaning that the Sigma Virus was no longer a thread. The thread was that Wiel had his Hands on Zeros original Body making Omega extemly strong and that is why they got banned out of Neo arcadia into the Space. Ciel builded Copy X so there would still be a "legend" around to guide mankind while the real one sealed himself.
I think than it was stated than X was affected by the Virus. As you can see on MMX5, when X takes damage from exposure to the virus. Then again, Zero and X are inmune more or the less, because they are not reploids, but Advanced Robots. Which is something different.
X used the Mother Elf to destroy the Sigma Virus and then used his own body to seal mother elf's power

X has no Antivirus or anything else... it's just that, like LordZero666 said, X is not a reploid, even if the reploids are based on X, Cain used replaces for those parts of X that he didn't understand

Dude! I know right? Zero and Original X were the original "Robots" maybe even "Robot Masters" not Reploids, but Ciel and everyone else don't know any better. Really who can blame them.
X's body was destroyed on sealing the Dark Elf or also known as the Mother Elf.
Afterwards he waited for Zero's ressurection but, appearently, Zero's body was claimed to be fake afterwards. After Zero was ressurected by Ciel, a rebel to copy X, with the help of a cyber elf, Zero doesn't recall his memories. X soon gives zero a sword After hardship, Zero finds out his body is a copy because X used Zero's real body to fight OMEGA shortly after Zero was sealed away for this very moment. A HERO!!
It's made pretty clear that none of the original Commanders or Zero himself were "saved". Their powers were placed in biometals, but who they are is gone forever. They just have feelings of knowing each other.
I'm not too worried about ZX anymore though. The sales on the last game were close to the sales of Megaman Legends 2, which means it's another discontinued storyline.
Right now I'm just thankful that they finished up the Zero Series awhile back.
Zero is apparently dead, but the Rockman Zero Official Complete Works says he's just missing. As for the guardians, they are all confirmed dead. Else they would have appeared in Zero 4.
Right now as far as capcom is concerned, Starforce is the new Megaman Series and they already got a line up. However, as far as creative material goes, that game is just a remake of Megaman BT. Capcom is kind of afraid of trying new things when it comes to their Rockman series, which is a bit disappointing.
No indications on continuing the ZX series? I mean it's the best of the new series. Starforce is crap. Sure ZX isn't quite as good as MMZero storywise but it retains the excellent gameplay and art direction. Not to mention it actually continues the core series. Though I'd like the return of reploid main characters instead of humans dressed like them.

It also sucks that x body get´s destroyed on zero 2 and that x energy finally drains on zero 3. Zero 3 and zero 4 sure has the most emotive endings on the megaman series thanx to those deaths.

I love this song! Probably my favorite from the whole series! I just completed megaman zero 2 from the megaman zero collection and when i heard this song, It brought back lots of good times when I played zero 2 on the GBA.

X sacrifice his body to rid the world of the Sigma virus. Apparently Dr. Light already programmed an anti-virus in X's system to suppress the virus, when he was being made.
Funny since Zero is the root of the virus in the first place, and it's pretty confusing how Light managed to make an anti-virus for a program he didn't know existed.
So after X's body disappeared, his soul remained and became a Cyber Elf, which helps Zero in the Zero series.

If I recall correctly X sacrifeces his Body to seal the Dark elf since Wiel placed a curse on her, the Cyber elfes were used to end the Maverick war meaning that the Sigma Virus was no longer a thread. The thread was that Wiel had his Hands on Zeros original Body making Omega extemly strong and that is why they got banned out of Neo arcadia into the Space. Ciel builded Copy X so there would still be a "legend" around to guide mankind while the real one sealed himself.

I think than it was stated than X was affected by the Virus. As you can see on MMX5, when X takes damage from exposure to the virus. Then again, Zero and X are inmune more or the less, because they are not reploids, but Advanced Robots. Which is something different.

X has no Antivirus or anything else... it's just that, like LordZero666 said, X is not a reploid, even if the reploids are based on X, Cain used replaces for those parts of X that he didn't understand
so, it's like trying to infect your linux OS with some windows virus...

X's body was destroyed on sealing the Dark Elf or also known as the Mother Elf.
Afterwards he waited for Zero's ressurection but, appearently, Zero's body was claimed to be fake afterwards. After Zero was ressurected by Ciel, a rebel to copy X, with the help of a cyber elf, Zero doesn't recall his memories. X soon gives zero a sword After hardship, Zero finds out his body is a copy because X used Zero's real body to fight OMEGA shortly after Zero was sealed away for this very moment. A HERO!!

It's made pretty clear that none of the original Commanders or Zero himself were "saved". Their powers were placed in biometals, but who they are is gone forever. They just have feelings of knowing each other.
I'm not too worried about ZX anymore though. The sales on the last game were close to the sales of Megaman Legends 2, which means it's another discontinued storyline.
Right now I'm just thankful that they finished up the Zero Series awhile back.

Zero is apparently dead, but the Rockman Zero Official Complete Works says he's just missing. As for the guardians, they are all confirmed dead. Else they would have appeared in Zero 4.

Right now as far as capcom is concerned, Starforce is the new Megaman Series and they already got a line up. However, as far as creative material goes, that game is just a remake of Megaman BT. Capcom is kind of afraid of trying new things when it comes to their Rockman series, which is a bit disappointing.

No indications on continuing the ZX series? I mean it's the best of the new series. Starforce is crap. Sure ZX isn't quite as good as MMZero storywise but it retains the excellent gameplay and art direction. Not to mention it actually continues the core series. Though I'd like the return of reploid main characters instead of humans dressed like them.

It also sucks that x body get´s destroyed on zero 2 and that x energy finally drains on zero 3. Zero 3 and zero 4 sure has the most emotive endings on the megaman series thanx to those deaths.
