I have to say I completely agree. I hate it when people say this money is wasted. Infrastructure money is money the fed gov. would have spent anyway. Doesn't anyone remember the hue and cry about our nations bridges when the interstate collapsed in Minneapolis last year? Yes we are borrowing the money to do this now, but at about 2% (infl. adj.) it seems like a pretty good deal.
It will never happen with such a stubborbn GOP majority in the house. They want a bad economy until 2012, that way Obama won't get re-elected.
