Pretty old news now, I guess. Especially now that Fox News has finally come out of the closet and donated a million dollars to the Republican party. No need to make a pretense out of being 'fair and balanced' anymore.
So the bankers get a handout, but workers get a demand that they pay out more money--into the pockets of some of the most immoral corporations in America--or get fined?!!

This idea has merit, as well as a clear draw back. With individual, rather than group, you loose the cost averaging to bring down cost. On the other hand, if the two or three major insurers were to be challenged by smaller insurers, with an eye on cost to the individual, that might be over come. And being able to take your insurance with you, or shop around for better coverage or cheaper premiums from time to time, is the competition we are seeking.
Facts usually confuse republicans.
Since Reagan, they have trained themselves to ignore them.
That is why only 6% of American scientists are republicans.
