as minamistar1 said...it's because it's a show with many many guests. The guests are usually comedians known throughout all of Japan. They are either comedians, idols, or talents. And because they are a comedian, idol, or talent...the Japanese audience would like to see how they are reacting to the situation being displayed as well.

It's a common thing throughout variety shows in Japan.
