Are you trying to raise money for your ride? If you have a tax deductable ID then you should start sending out letters to the bike companies and if you do have the tax id number get it to me and we will see if we can try to raise some money for you as well. We do bucket drop drives for the girl who is running in the LLS Nike Team In Training 26.2 mile Womens Marathon in October and have had some sucess. Also you can hold silent auctions and bake sales. Its easy if you have the tax id number.

Mostly I'm doing it to raise awareness, but if I can raise funds for the National Kidney Foundation or another renal disease related organization, I'd like to do that too. I'm going to call my local chapter tomorrow to see if I can talk to them about it. I don't have a tax deductible ID yet because the idea is new and I'm not sure how to go about doing it yet. I was going to start with the NKF and go from there.

I love bikes. I wish I knew you were into them when you were here.

I have an old schwinn paramount and a 70s motobicane along with too many other bikes lol. I sill have some campi parts and a bunch of other stuff I will be getting rid of soon.
