Same problem with my neighbor. But I fought fire with fire. I have varying work schedules (sometimes graveyard shift, sometimes day). Whenever I am on graveyard shift, before going to work, I play my music loudly. I point my bass directly to the wall that separates my neighbor and me. I auto-played songs with strong bass and put it on repeat. Ever since I started doing that, he hardly plays loud music anymore. I didn't want to resort to that, but all other options didn't work.

Have you called Code Enforcement? Look into the municipal codes and penal codes for noise and nuisance laws. Call police out to take a complaint. As for a helicopter. Call DHS/ICE 1-866-347-2423 and let them hear the noise. Go to city council meetings to complain. What about permit requirements? Have you called Code Enforcement? Look into the municipal codes and penal codes for noise and nuisance laws. Call police out to take a complaint. As for a helicopter. Call DHS/ICE 1-866-347-2423 and let them hear the noise. Go to city council meetings to complain. What about permit requirements? I live in LA. Every time I hear this music I get a craving for tequila shots.
Anyway, I have a suggestion for you, a loud stereo for the day, and ear plugs at night. Set your phone for a vibrate alarm in the morning, and put it by your pillow. Works like a charm!
