Dang, this is an informative video but a lot of it is still going right over my head. It'll take me a little while to fully grasp eveything he's talking about here. But that's good. I'd rather find a video that I'd have to work on for a while than find a video where I nail the lesson in fifteen minutes and then stand there like, "now what?"
This is an excellent lesson. I've been learning the changes to a few tunes and arpeggio shapes thinking "how am I going to learn to change from one arpeggio to the next in the same position while phrasing a solo?" Well, this is an excellent reminder not to overwhelm yourself and to remember to know/feel what you're playing instead of running through positions like some kind of exercise. Thanks!
@DylanRedMusic You probably already have an answer, but just in case you don't- C minor is the relative minor of Eb major, so C will be aeolian. To solo over Cmin6, Fmin7, to Bb7, you'd be playing C aeolian to F dorian to Bb mixolydian.

So if your in the key of Cminor and you start with the chord Cmin6 going to Fmin7 to Bb7
then should i use the C dorian to C aeolien to C mixolidian
or C dorian to F aeolien to Bb mixolidian
?

Hm, nice idea with restricting to one string. Looks like these are some useful lessons, too bad there are only two of them.
