@antinimel And anyway,so that you know, this music descends from Smyrni ,now known as Izmir and from the general coast of Turkey wich had been inhabited by Greek people even before we were named that.It's music descending from the times of the Byzantium,before the Ottoman empire,probably even before Islam and middle east as it is the past thousand years. So, to answer your original question, yes it is greek music, not arabic and not Turkish because it preexisted! Hope that answers you.
