Snakes don't make it a Cobra.  I don't recall Ford refering to the original Shelby GT500 as a Cobra.

What about it? Its a Super Snake, not a Super Cobra. Don't blame me, Ford dropped the "Cobra" name in 07 when it brought out the Shelby cars. As a former owner of 2 Cobras (2001 & 2004) I was not happy with it either!!

if its a Cobra why isn't it refered to as a Cobra and not a Shelby Gt 500? Thats a question for Ford and Carrol Shelby. Like I said before, snakes dont make it a Cobra. Go to a dealership and look at a window sticker of a new Gt 500 and see if you see the word Cobra anywhere on it- you wont! I still have both window stickers from my REAL COBRAS but my friend with his 2010 Shelby GT 500 window sticker is missing that famous word!

Chevy's arnt bad since they throw in a big motor, but my friends z28 kept leaking A LOT, so he switched it for a mustang GT, sure its slower but it hasnt had a single problem since he got it and its been longer than he owned the z28.

im only a youngster so I can't afford an 03/4 Cobra yet but I would do anything for one.

I'm jealous of every single 03/4 Cobra owner in the world and I can't wait to get one for myself.

When i do get one it would probably cost a fortune to run and insure. Especially with the UK petrol prices as they are Cobras will become a rarity in the UK. (mind you they are rarities already).

Yes it was called the Ford Mustang King Cobra and was made only in '78. Under the SVT program, Its their own Cobra, just like Shelby's Cobra
