In the sense that it is led by the guy. Salsa has to be led by the guy, so the left foot leads with the guy doing that step first. Its just how its taught- the guy's step is whats often taught so as you know what to look out for.

not really.. the forst one she's just saying the basic thing in the second one she is explaning that the guy always starts so thats why she goes over the whole thing again so people know who starts and dont get all mixed up.
