Undoubtably a good series, but as a metal guitarist I found having to learn sheet music a big waste of time. Shame it wasn't in tabs as well as sheet. Like, you watch a lesson, and you have to pretty much stare at the musical staff till you know which note is which is drilled into your brain. Not really practicing, moreso memorising. It does help with learning notes, butt here are MUCH better ways of learning notes of the fretboard.

I'm not in the game of giving sweet talk about products but, I will endorse the Legacy quality and recommend them. They are methodically set out, well planned and taught by pros. The DVDs are good to follow along with. The enclosed booklet (if this is sill in the box) is very god for quick reference and reminders. Their forums are a great place to make new friends & get advice.
