it is a skill developed through playing dota repeatedly.... it is very unnoticeable since you yourself don't realize that you already acquired this skill... also SOME i mean SOME mistakes in the video are not actually noob but we see from time to time... especially the last scene... slardar just 2 hits away from dying?? oh come on who will not blink to the tower with rhasta as back up... a good tactical play to use the wand to lure riki...
I'd laugh if my storm escape was here i lagged a lot and i saw nessaj so i ultied quickly to get away cause they usually traveled in groups and nessaj was the fastest of the 5 ^_^ what luck that was when es just stunned i was on my way :D :D
Could you post a working link or upload the song yourself, please? The instrumental version [ as it is here ], if this is the instrumental version. Thanks
Almost everyone can't seem to see the point here. As the video description said - psychological dominance, make the enemy feel that there's no escape. This video intends to show you mistakes players make in some games. May it be pro or noob, the first thing that comes to a players mind after failing a chase and ended up being ganked is that he must kill the ones he's chasing so that thing would be equaled. The thing is that it is what he wants the enemy to think thus gaining advantage.
Literally none of this was special.... this happens every dota game. Especially if there's a spec, bloodseeker, antimage, puck or anyone that gets max ms. Just host a pub and people will chase and you WILL get kills guarenteed.
Seriusly now, when i started dota your vids where looking awesome but dude you should just realize that after 2 years you havent make any improvement either in your gamestyle not even in your quality of your videos you keep on playing with noobs and even there you are not making anything that would worth someone's time to watch, you should know when you have to retire, you should realize that nowdays people have made improvements in video quality and gamestyle and you have just left back....
its awesome to watch this video's because you, and sogovegeta were the 1st to make these kind of moves/jukes/mindgames etc..when i watch these ''new-age'' vid's its all the same .. the only difrence is that they have better edditing skill .. what i want to say is .. what the ''movie maker's'' are doing now in their vid's, you were doing it 3-4 years aggo..cheers m8 :D
thanks for the video, i have more fun playing dota since i started to implement your tips and game play style and really apreciate the effort you do to enlight peolpe about those little things that can make a diference in a dota fight.
Ur enemies are complete morons.... play some high skilled games and non of this bullshit would even happen.... the people u play against are low IQ'd noobs who don't understand a single thing about DotA.... Make compilation out of pro games, not pathetic games like these..... all i saw here were morons that didn't understand their hero nor the enemy heroes capabilties..
Is it only me that is feeling that all of the people getting owned are clearly underestimating/overestimating their opponent? And hence dies. why is that? Are they noobs? Greedy? or have they missjudged the person they are facing because for reasons not shown? Peoples responses is easily read if you make them that, i would never blink into a stunner at a tower if the person would be skilled. These films shows people that are being toyed in their minds on/off-camera, or are they just noobs?
Totallnewbie. 1st of all thanx alot fr all the vdoz tht u've created. I've improved ALOT jzt by followin ur movez. (although not az pro az u) :oP Secondly, thiz guy DanBrink. Thanx for this vid, even though I've seen them before from your other vids, I never really learnt much til you explained exactly what you did in them, so much appreciation ^_^
IMO your vids show the best skills (sorry hexor). Always entertaining to watch. You don't feel the need to edit the vids to hell and back and that's refreshing compared to other vids. Only thing I don't really like about your vids is their duration and how often you post them. I can never get enough =) and probably the quality but that's no biggy. And somehow with songs like the one on this vid, I feel like I'm playing GameBoy and gives me nostalgic flashbacks. So thanks. :)
well, some of scenes good, some of them awesome ofc.
Look's like ogre didnt casted stun before you hook btw? he casted right after, coz i see no atempt before he hooked - so he can cast at pudge same way.
P.S. I hardly waiting new material vids of yous, you dont play much dota now?
@DanBrink91 not really, if you read the first part you have to know or anticipate what your opponents gonna do next, so even if your opponent is better or noobier than you you still have to anticipate.
@KoreanKr3w It takes the opponents forever to react in this video, if they had equal reactions or even normal reactions they wouldn't be caught like this T_T
For example in the slardar/SA scene, his teammate doesn't attack you while the SA dives. Not only that but SA didn't put down a cloud in the time it took you to cast amp and stun.
Not saying these weren't good scenes but really this is a fine crafted art in pubs and not much else T_T
Really now? Rhasta didn't help at all? he threw one attack and went back because it he thought it was the finishing blow. Even if he still stayed and attacked, I would not have died because of a level up + magic stick. I would then proceed to run into fog, then what? I wasn't dead regardless of what he did. What can he do..pull another fork lightning out of his ass?
And you're blaming SA for not being able to cloud after he blink strike? First of all, let's first assume SA even had mana for cloud... the time it takes him to cloud after landing one hit from BS is much longer than the time it takes me to amp and stun. It would not have worked. Second, if he does have mana for cloud, why didn't he use it earlier when i was in shackles? People aren't that retarded you know...If they can use a spell they will. Stop hopelessly nitpicking the scenes
Yes he should've casted cloud while you were in shackles, he's a noob that's my entire point. He can also get a cloud off before you stun but you'd get the amp off. Also rhasta could've auto'd you more.
I enjoy your videos and have been doing so for a while but you can't deny the players you play against are horrible.
You don't seem to get my point. If he didn't cast cloud when I was in shackles (which we both agree should have happened), why do you think that is? You say he is noob but I say that he has no mana for it. It's like asking why a hero didn't cast a spell after seeing magina burn their mana away with 4-5 hits. Are they noob because they are physically unable to cast a spell? And rhasta could have gotten at most 1 extra hit, which wouldn't have mattered.
Why don't you create a dota video where the opponents don't make mistakes? Here, let me make it easier for you..you can't.. Hero kills and highlights happen because people fucked up somewhere sometime. Your criticism of the players being horrible can be applied to EVERY dota video where kills and jukes happen. I do not claim I am pro, nor do I say my opponents are horrible. IMO, the players make understandable mistakes, ones which I would have made in the same situation.
And I'm saying the mistakes in the video are kin to public players rather then say Hexor's videos where the mistakes are usually very very small. The players in this video look to be horrible, its my opinion. I think you could've done everything WITHOUT getting low hp versus these opponents but that wouldn't be very fun, so you play more on the edge because your opponent's skill level allows you to.
Like I said before, there are many mistakes in every video (including Hexor's). Don't act like it doesn't exist just because you know he plays in a more competitive scene. The players in my videos misjudge the situation when it comes down to the very last hit. They are horrible because of that? Alright that's your opinion. And no, getting down to low HP is part of the reason mistakes happen in the first place. If I was full HP in the slardar scene, you think they would have chased?
Low HP causing mistakes like chasing or the like is not a factor in high-level play. Of course, an extremely low percentage of players play high-level, competitive DotA, and I in no way intend to take anything away from you or your videos, I simply feel that being able to predict so easily the mistakes other players will make is more plausible as a casual-play tactic. Of course it is still infinitely useful in high-level play... it's just also infinitely more difficult.

That's a pretty common misconception. If you watch these "high-level" replays, you will see many kills are caused by baiting with low HP. You will see many players make crazy mistakes. Take a look at my "situational analysis" if you don't believe me. I acknowledge that everyone makes mistakes (even myself), and it's good to learn from them.

nice, a gather up of the all the nice scenes from your videos. The one with BB turning around anticipating BM will roar was good, gets a free quill + reduced dmg. Everyone's waiting on Audacity 3.
good stuff totallnewbie :D Completely true. In high level games being able to harass without taking damage in return, timing ur spells right, and anticipation are key to winning a lane. Well done!
The point of the slardar + SA scene is that there is only a very very small window of opportunity to get the kill, and that is exactly the moment when SA blink strikes. Stunning and then amping wouldn't have worked because he would have been unstunned faster and may have gotten 1 more hit in. Plus, it's not like he was amped in the beginning in the first place (probably one of the reasons why he chased). I would have dived for the kill if I was playing SA in that situation as well.
@jovicakluk Lol noob, it isn't map hack, nor move hack, read the title and description!! Nice. The Zeus + Eul's scene was a very smart move.
But the last scene where SA got too greedy and tower dived for the kill was fairly predictable. Anyway, you're a pretty good player.
Cheers

@swswil
I would have dived for the kill if I was playing SA in that situation as well.

jovicakluk 1 year ago
@jovicakluk Lol noob, it isn't map hack, nor move hack, read the title and description!! It says Response Hack, RH for short, it's a tip on how to responce to attacks and to know a bit more on mind-games =D this is ofcourse no blind hooks razes, etc, pls read the description, all the scenes are there *shrugs* X__X

no comprehending what youa re tying to tell us.
they're not hacking obs. it's not that hard to predict stuff after you'd played dota for a while (3~4 years on my part) .
but, most scenes are good :) .

Why do you reuse the same clips that you have used before? =(
Freakingpanda1 1 year ago
you hyped this video up too much, i understand what you were trying to describe, but it didn't show as much as i'd hope in the videos - and recycling footage wasn't good either
