(1) Names of Japanese persons are usually written with Kanji-characters which were introduced from China. And every Kanji character has some meanings. So, if some one wanted to interpret the meaning of Japanese name BY FORCE, he could insist that he got some quasi-plausible meaning from the Kanji-characters which were used in the name.
(2) But, in fact, many Japanese parents give their child a name mainly from the respect of phonetic sound (without regard to its meaning) and later they apply Kanji-characters to its phonetic sound that was decided before. So, such interpretations is somewhat dubious.
(3) I have read Asuka's Diary (substantially her blog) which she wrote in Vision Factory's web-site for cell-phone (deleted already). She wrote in it that she had asked her mother why her parents had named her "Asuka". Her mother replied that they had given it to her, because they wanted her to "become active in future (tomorrow)". But many Japanese remember from her name "Asuka(飛鳥 or 明日香) district" where the capital of Japan existed in ancient times (592--710 A.D.).
(4) [A] In "Asuka(明日香)", first and second characters (明日[asu]) mean "tomorrow" and third character (香[ka]) means "scent" or "fragrance". [B] "Hikaru" has the form of verb "shine" which has a same root (hikar-) as the noun "hikari" (light). [C] I think that "Rina(里奈)" don't have clear meaning and it is focused mainly on phonetic sound. [D] "Keika(桂花)" means the "flower of fragrant olive (Osmanthus fragrans var. aurantiacus)", but other interpretations are possible.
While listening to this song, I just can't help myself but to smile! I love to listening to both the original song by Domino and the revised song by Hinoi Team!
@FasStudio:No they are not making fools out of themselves, what are you talking about? They are and awesome Japanese singers!I saw all of their videos on here.
I love this song. It's so happy! Just like all the others, heheh. However, quick question. When are Rina's and Keika's solos? I know at one point they're in front of their lines, but I watched fullscreen and never caught the solos.
I've listened this song again very carefully and noticed that when Rina or Keika sang in front of the line, Asuka sang ANOTHER MELODY with extremely little voice so as to make HARMONY with the main melody which was sung by Rina or Keika. So, precisely, they aren't solo parts as you wrote. But it's also true that Rina or Keika is solely singing the main melody at these passages.
Okay, I heard it just now. That's really cool! Also, the note you made about "as normal/as round as" where the notation in the disc card is NOMAL, I was thinking it might be another pun like san-shine was, where it crosses over the language
this dance is so hard compared to night of fire
