im a dancer ...n i know it takes work to make a piece. wats miss from this routine is musicality ... next time try and play with different sounds in music, hit different beats. it will make everything look much hard and look much better.

Having worked on this performance as the lighting designer, I can vouch for the seniors who dedicated themselves to making this into a great performance. They were under a tight schedule during tech week and managed to pull the show off without any major flaws. There is no need to criticize the performers without just cause.

just my opinion for ur improvement, I agree with the one who said this looks like a bunch of ballerinas trying to do hip hop. the ballet tech is good, but I think u guys should be more tough and adapt some hiphop style for this song, coz the beat is so hiphop.. ^^

Isnt this a school for performing with dance being one of the major components? The dance had no difficulty for SENIOR students, was out of sync and just didn't look good....it's not the dancers fault unless they choreographed it because thats who's fault it is. The only thing i would say about the dancers is to practice the syns issues.

just came on and watched the dance piece and thought it has some real good points, the timing or so were off at parts but can't be helped some times just a little more practice. The only thing I think it lacked was complete performance level.

one last thing, Turn comments off if your going to read and respond to every bad comment, because you'll read back on some of the stuff you said later and its just silly. also the two comments above this are from the dancers epicfail.

Overall, an okay performance.

You guys needed work on your synch, in some places it was really good but in others it was downright awful. Especially on the leaps and spins.

Also watch the formations. You might think it doesn't matter too much, but watch some of the really, really, good dance team and notice that it's almost as if they have x's on the floor!

it was such a perfect mix of balett...modern and sexy rnb'...just very very good.

i agree. i don't see a lot of fluid motion. things are kind of choppy and i noticed a lot of glancing at other dancers to see what count they're hitting instead of counting in your head. a lot of the spacing was off and the lack of formation became distracting.

however, if this is a self-choreographed routine, it's impressive for just a group of students. it's not always easy to get everyone to cooperate and agree on a dance, so good job on that aspect. keep working-there's tons of potential.
