@residentapple There are several teams that, to my knowledge, don't make cars, like HRT(former name), Force India, Sauber, Williams. They just make f1 cars to race in the series to make money or to promote their name, or whatever the reason.

Why the hell can't Dodge remake all their muscle cars just like they did with the Challenger ( not the Charger , because it is nothing like the beast from the past ). Which also gives Dodge the right to call this new car the Dart. Because before the Swinger days, the Dart was a full on economy car and had absolutely no performance parts on it.
2. The Challenger also isn't a muscle car. It's a pony car. Always has been. Back in the 60s, it was built to compete with the Camaro and Mustang, just like today.
Team Lotus now Caterham gets 30 million for finish 10th in 2 consecutive year moving them up to the A league. Tony Fernandes said this is huge for the team.
Clearly no one told him Fernando Alonso gets paid 36 million a year.
Ha I live in Fargo, and our economy is running pretty well so maybe Toyota should look elsewhere God knows there is plenty of other cities/states that could use the new jobs that having a Toyota headquarters would certainly bring, even if it is just sweeping the floors. This Dodge is going to THRASH competition. I have never seen Dodge doing so well in the past years and I can say the effort they've put in their Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge products are surprisingly well. While Ford is doing well, they seem to have completely forgotten about their Lincoln lineup and the only thing that's worth praising in GM is Cadillac.
Fiat did well managing Dodge/Chrysler. Just as well as Tata managing Jaguar/Land Rover. They know their stuff.
If I were not a poor collge student (yes, under 40) I would totally make the very intelligent investment in the FLD enterprise so that you guys could have like a 15 min show EVERY day!! It's a good looking little machine, and it's cool that they're reviving the Dart name, but the fact that it's Fiat-based... not so much.
Replacement parts are probably going to be insanely expensive. If this is what Fiat plans on doing with new Chryslers from now on, they need to build a parts plant somewhere in North America so they don't have to ship everything from Europe.

Refreshing to see hers aren't fake. I found myself staring at them throughout the whole commercial hoping one would slip, but no luck. Great commercial, and great pick for HDGOTW. I love how she called soccer "football" just the way it's supposed to be. I know she's British, but it's still nice to hear. Also, I really can't stand the Dart (Funny enough, didn't care for the older one either). I found the first car since the 2011 Charger that looks like complete crap. Looks like the Challenger continues to be the only car Dodge has done any justice to.

I've actually already seen these Dart pictures. I'd recommend that you all follow Car and Driver on Facebook.
It's a good looking little machine, and it's cool that they're reviving the Dart name, but the fact that it's Fiat-based... not so much.
Replacement parts are probably going to be insanely expensive. If this is what Fiat plans on doing with new Chryslers from now on, they need to build a parts plant somewhere in North America so they don't have to ship everything from Europe.

actually, because military does not pay taxes on purchases, $400 a gallon is more than 100x. The reason they are paying so much of OUR money- - pyramid scheme in Pentagon (purchases are done via 3rd party firms owned by military officers involved in purchasing). And also,because we haven't seen a televised public execution of the "secretary of defense" in awhile

first, i'm 32 and yes i owned a 1974 Dodge Dart SE...318 V8! Second, what the hell is that? Dart and a 4 banger? Come on Dodge, you should have called it the Dodge Fish......why?..... because that thing is going to flop faster than a small sunfish on a hot day! Dart was in the Muscle car class.... now look at it.... freaking sad.... just, freaking, sad.

@dakoffran The Dart was a pony car, not a muscle car. It was a smaller chassis like the Camaro. Small hatchest are the new pony car. Same formula, new tech. Small car with a powerful engine. Besides, there are a lot of stock 4-banger cars that are a LOT faster than most American V8 cars. New or old. It's amazing what boost can do.

@cbremer83 pony/muscle. it was a sweet car. light weight(for the time) lots of power(for the time). it would do the "one wheel pee"l for a mile! lol but like you said its amazing what boost can do! if they could get it to make 260 to 300 HP and have it handle good.well ok.its just sad to see them use that name on this car. they should call it something else. if anything the new dart should be a 4door 6cly and then they could have a "Swinger-turbo"coupe! that would be something!

Refreshing to see hers aren't fake. I found myself staring at them throughout the whole commercial hoping one would slip, but no luck. Great commercial, and great pick for HDGOTW. I love how she called soccer "football" just the way it's supposed to be. I know she's British, but it's still nice to hear. I still don't understand why American football is called football and they call it soccer here. I don't want to get into this again. It's been too many times I've argued with people about this.

And if "football" is what it's supposed to be called simply because that's what they call it, then "soccer" is equally correct: they came up with the term, not us.

@TBustah I don't think it should be called football simply because they call it that. I think North Americans should call soccer "football" because, logically, it makes sense. It is meant to be played primarily with the feet, therefore earning it the name "football". On the other hand, American football consists of a few punts and field goals here and there. Again, just doesn't make sense logically. Who came up with the term? The Brits?
