I bet the person that posted this video did what almost everybody else did. He put Simon's Quest, started playing. He was motivated by the incredible music. Then he did not know what the fuck to do, and went to the other Castlevanias. That is the problem with Simon's Quest, it is not a well designed game.

Whoever says Simon quest is Amazing is a fanboy. It is not true. Its an ok game, but it has NOTHING against the other Castlevanias. We are not even talking about Gameboy Castlevanias, we are talking about NES Castlevanias.

I know that she was supposed to be sacrificed to be the "savior of the mankind," but it is really a fraud to resurrect Dracula. She has a brother, whom Dracula's power corrupted. @supersteelpokemon I do not know. I saw a part of walkthrough of Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. I guess something must be fishy at beginning of game. It seems that Barlowe promised Shanoa's brother he would do something, but he did not do it. If Shanoa's brother had not interfered with sacrifice, I am sure there would have been bad results. It seems Order of Ecclesia organization went off on a good start, but Dracula's power is too much for the people. I do not want to spoil anyone.

@HunterTiger2100 lol, yeah. I played through the whole game like 6-8 times (easy mode with shanoa, easy with albus, hard 3 times with shanoa, hard 3 times with albus)

@supersteelpokemon my only exposure to Order of Ecclesia is the video game music and the walkthroughs. I love the summoned partners, which used to be the enemies. A zombie and a spider trample on the ground enemies. It would have been great if Shanoa's spider partner had maintained the ability to infect poison (NOT on her though). Shanoa is a cute woman. She is dangerous. It is terrible for you to be her enemy.

symphony of the night is better them all of them put together, it has the best music and sound and it changed castlevaia from the gay slow walking whip slinning toon to a fast character(alucard the son of dracula) can turn into a bat, wolf and mist.  No of the others can do that.

Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse is my favorite.

It had great music, tight controls, nice graphics, and the ability to switch between characters was awesome.

Too bad I gave mine NES to my cousin with the game. I regret so much. He does not even play it, maybe I can ask if he can give me back.

My favorite Castlevania game out of those two has to be Castlevania Circle of the Moon, and yes I beaten both games once, Circle of the Moon is really hard it brings a good challenge and that's why I like it more.

have to agree on that. That the exact same way I feel about CotM, i mean it brought evolution in gameplay since it was Hard in a way reminecent to OLd-school CVs and was RPG-ish like SotN. Out of curiosity... have you beaten chronicles? damn i think that the hardest one i've played, I´m still on it.

Also, the latest castlevania that I enjoyed best was not even a complete game, but an Extra mode. I really enjoyed playing through DoS' Julius mode. They should make a game like that(not as PoR). Order of ecclesia was fine as well. I'm kinda writing too much in here, u must be getting frustrated, i'll just stop it here.

I'm not frustrated at all, I totally agree with you I really enjoyed Julius mode. Did you know how to play with Alucard in DoS because his a playable character. I also liked PoR because you can play with multiple characters like Richter and Maria and both Sisters and Old Axe Armor. Sorry for the paragraph. :)

Yes I beaten all of the games I have in my video and the hardest Castlevania game that I ever played was the original Castlevania for the Nintendo. What I like about the chronicles it's a complete remake of the first Castlevania, but it has more levels to it.

The first Castlevania is easy compared to Chronicles, IMO. BTW, yes i knew alucard was playable(how else would I beat the game? :P ). I don't like PoR that much because it lacks polish, but the fact that Eric Lecarde,John,Johnathan,the sisters and Richter and maria are included(either storywise or playable wise) gives it some value. I think its time for Julius to get his own game set in 1999, with a gameplay reminecent of CV3,DoS, and more linear(or at least challenging OoE got almost right.)
