Hi! :) I adored the video! I'm too young to adopt now, but I hope to adopt a child from Russia in the future. I have a question: how does the matching process work, exactly? For example, can you ask to be matched with a child of a certain age group or gender? Or is that decided for you?
@idalovehilary Sure sorry this response took so long. Slipped through the cracks. No she and 2 others were biological. Luke is our only adopted and right now we are in the process of adopting again. Thanks for asking.
What a beautiful little boy....my husband and I are finding it such a long process that watching all the amazing videos of people sharing their stories a continued inspiration....We just keep focusing on the end result.....bless you for sharing your story....
We are very happy for you. My wife and I know what you went though to adopt because we just went though it in Feb 1st trip and June 2nd trip. It was nice to see you bring one of your girls so she can see where her brother came form and where he lived before he became part of your family. I hope the transformation has been good and his heath is good. Our girl has 1 kidney but over all is very heathly. Thank you for Adopting and giving that boy a change for life.

@AshleyAaah Yes, you request a gender and an age range. For example a boy with an age range of 6-24 months.
