I never thought I'd see the day when yassau inseminated a cow.

So, do you have any bulls of your own, or do you import all your semen?

My father lived on a dairy in the days before A.I, and on a dairy- bulls are good for the odd mating here and there and eating most of the feed and thats it. Plus, it was expensive to hire outside bulls, but in order to keep the lines free from too much genetic closeness, they'd have to.

How much easier life would have been if they had A.I.

Anus and rectum are the final parts of the digestive tube. Imagine the arm going in the rectum, and wearing it like a long glove+ sleeve. Then, one opens his/her hand and manipulate the uterus so that the gun can pass through the cervix into the uterine body. Then one just pushes the semen in. Nature does the rest.

I was a little disappointed to find that the farmer does some artificial insemination where I get some of the milk for my pets. I'm now thinking of switching 100% one I use that doesn't. My animals are allergic to pasteurized or thermal treated milk, as many are. This farm does have bulls around, as some cows are discovered pregnant on this farm without A.I. having been done. What do you think of domestic pets and their milk allergies? Would you do a video on this?

I don´t know much about pets, so it would be difficult for me to do a video on that. But I assure you, that allergis have nothing to do with AI. Why were you disappointed at your milk provider

@yassau I'm a little disappointed because I chose who lets the calves be with the cows 24/7 so I thought they let the herd inseminate however they could naturally too. I was wrong,the farmer told me that he usually does it for them very much like u. It helps him time how much milk he will have when etc. I know that can help,but I think of the cows. I know for people AI would not be first choice always for themselves. He does care what breed though. What breed cow do u prefer for human eating?

Well, sexual pleasure is something that can count for quality of life, but it is more ecologically correct to inseminate; you woun´t need the existence of the bull, or you need less bulls, that do nothing but mating.

I like Hereford and Angus. I´m an Angus breeder.

@yassau So you didn't cut the horns off these? Did angus, particularly red angus, always have so much less horn than other cows and bulls? Bulls like hitting their heads into things way more than people do. I can't help but ask, does having horns help cow/bull energy? Did you hear? Black angus in the US is just any black cow, any cow is called angus as long as it's black. Is that true? Thank you for answering all my questions the best you can. There are no big farms around where I live.

All Angus are genetically free of horns (polled). But because horns are recessive, some horned "angus" appear every now and then. Not all black cows are angus; but most of them. But in order to register it has to have other traits from the race, such as a polled head.

Horns are not good for anything, it just allows some animals to injure others; which always happens.

I'm curious forgive my ignorance..But how come you don't just have a actual Bull have sex with the cow? Is it because they have certain mating seasons? Why did you put your arm in that cows asshole? How did you get the bull sperm? Did you have to jack off the bull?

1) Actual bulls eat too much and are not genetically good as the donor of the semen. 2) Because, 1 hand handles the cervix from within the rectum, while the other manages the "gun". 3) I just bought the semen, but the bulls are collected by putting them with a cow in heat and deviating the penis into an artificial vagina where it ejaculates. One ejaculation = average of 200 doses.

It is similar indeed, but I don´t know much about horses. I think the volume of semen is way bigger; so I think it´s a bit more complex.
