Something that I've noticed with so many old wiggles songs, is that they have really nice melodies, that make perfect sens to listen to, and have that sort of melancholic element which a lot of bubble pop cheery happy time songs for kids at the moment don't have. I think this must be what has most heavily influenced my music taste currently, because I only like songs that have perfect melodies like this. It's really odd.
@Choffeey I did, Ive been dealing with a lot of stuff right now so I decided to listen to song music from my childhood to help be remember less complicated times and I listened to this and I cried. Good tears, it was nice to remember all these times :)

Once Greg left, much of the creativity in their music left too. My son still likes the music but since I'm a musician, I couldn't help but notice that the music changed for the worse. That said though, Sam isn't THAT bad. He's ok.
Totally agree. I think by now everyone has noticed that there is a lack of good original songs. Sometimes songs written several years ago simply have had lyrics changed, and been called "new." Greg was lead songwriter, as well as the face and voice of the group. His presence is greatly missed, and I'm afraid I can't give even an ok to sam. I think he is all wrong for the group, and they have really lost their way. Greg's health is very good now, and he is planning a solo career.

He has been doing solo shows & public speaking & hopes to return to touring at some point. Greg is on Facebook & says his health is great now.
Good. I never saw Sam Moran preform. I had no clue about Sam untill last November and I thought Greg died 3 years ago. I thought there career went down the toilet after Greg left.
Greg's much better now. In 2008 he returned to the public eye. He did 2 radio interviews, and also appeared on three t.v. interviews, along with many newspaper interviews. He sang in public 2 different times - one time doing some Wiggles songs, and another doing adult songs including "Burning Love." He hopes to get his health even better so he can return to the stage and record solo CDS.

That's a lovely compliment for Greg, and so very true. I miss very much too, and absolutely nothing is the same without him - not the DVDS, the live concerts, or the t.v. shows. There's a definite lack of good, original songs, and to me, the magic seems to have gone out of the group.
@randall2051 Greg was diagnosed with Orthostatic Intolerance & reluctantly stepped back to focus on his health. It stays with you, but it IS NOT life threatening. Basically it means his blood is not properly circulated around his body. Greg said in Sept 09 that he was feeling great now & returning to performing doing solos shows. He plans CDS & some touring. He also does motivational speaking & fund raising for charities & medical research. As time allows he posts on his official FB fan page.
Greg made five t.v. series with The Wiggles, and all five were shown on Disney from 2002 until Dec. 2008. Some people are not familiar with the first two series because they have not been shown since around early 2005. The one new series, which I do not like, was on about five months and then The Wiggles decided to leave Disney and go to Sprout. That network will show all five of Greg's series, along with new stuff, starting August 24TH I believe. I'm so glad that we'll all get to see Greg!
Sam, in a sense, is no longer the "new guy" as he has been there nearly 3 years. In late 2006, Greg was diagnosed with a chronic condition called orthostatic intolerance (which effected his performance ability), and very reluctantly was forced to retire. The role of the yellow Wiggle then went to his understudy and supporting cast member Sam Moran. I miss Greg very much too, but, Sam is most certainly not "boring." He has done incredible work for The Wiggles, and I am so glad the job went to him
Greg is an exciting entertainer, and a gorgeous man! His health is much better now, and he wants to return to the stage and record solo CDS at some point. There are no words for how much we miss Greg, and no one could ever take his place. Nothing is the same without him.

@salag13 Greg was diagnosed in November 2006 with Orthostatic Intolerance, a condition which basically means his blood is not properly circulated around his body. It is not life threatening & can be handled with medication & management. He's worked the last 3 years to turn his health around & said in Sept 2009 that he was returning to performing. He has been doing solo shows & public speaking & hopes to return to touring at some point. Greg is on Facebook & says his health is great now.

Good. I never saw Sam Moran preform. I had no clue about Sam untill last November and I thought Greg died 3 years ago. I thought there career went down the toilet after Greg left.

@salag13 if I can remember properly, he had some type of illness that he needed to take care of, so he left the show.

Greg's much better now. In 2008 he returned to the public eye. He did 2 radio interviews, and also appeared on three t.v. interviews, along with many newspaper interviews. He sang in public 2 different times - one time doing some Wiggles songs, and another doing adult songs including "Burning Love." He hopes to get his health even better so he can return to the stage and record solo CDS.
For recent pictures see youtube video "Greg Page - A Hero Lies In You." I miss Greg more now than ever.

Yes.....definitely! They kept a little of the original "Wiggles" but now it's pretty much changed. Not to mention it's not the same without Greg. =(

That's a lovely compliment for Greg, and so very true. I miss very much too, and absolutely nothing is the same without him - not the DVDS, the live concerts, or the t.v. shows. There's a definite lack of good, original songs, and to me, the magic seems to have gone out of the group.

@randall2051 Greg was diagnosed with Orthostatic Intolerance & reluctantly stepped back to focus on his health. It stays with you, but it IS NOT life threatening. Basically it means his blood is not properly circulated around his body. Greg said in Sept 09 that he was feeling great now & returning to performing doing solos shows. He plans CDS & some touring. He also does motivational speaking & fund raising for charities & medical research. As time allows he posts on his official FB fan page.

Greg made five t.v. series with The Wiggles, and all five were shown on Disney from 2002 until Dec. 2008. Some people are not familiar with the first two series because they have not been shown since around early 2005. The one new series, which I do not like, was on about five months and then The Wiggles decided to leave Disney and go to Sprout. That network will show all five of Greg's series, along with new stuff, starting August 24TH I believe. I'm so glad that we'll all get to see Greg!

Sam, in a sense, is no longer the "new guy" as he has been there nearly 3 years. In late 2006, Greg was diagnosed with a chronic condition called orthostatic intolerance (which effected his performance ability), and very reluctantly was forced to retire. The role of the yellow Wiggle then went to his understudy and supporting cast member Sam Moran. I miss Greg very much too, but, Sam is most certainly not "boring." He has done incredible work for The Wiggles, and I am so glad the job went to him

Greg is an exciting entertainer, and a gorgeous man! His health is much better now, and he wants to return to the stage and record solo CDS at some point. There are no words for how much we miss Greg, and no one could ever take his place. Nothing is the same without him.
