No, he's the King of the Titans, no single God could kill him alone. He's more powerful than the Gods, but still a Titan. The Titans came BEFORE the Gods, then the Gods descended from, then imprisoned them in Tartarus. Still, Greek mythology is a bit vague on facts due to so many stories and other versions of those stories, so I'm not surprised if you read something about being a God.
