Well I live on Long Island and I own a Jeep ZJ but I just don't get the "mudding" thing. To me it's like deciding to go out and get your car dirty for no apparent reason. Then what, go directly to the car wash I guess. Makes no sense to me.

thats off a 2002 ford explorer.. junk yard.

this truck was a budget build, i wasnt going to pay 300+ on a rack.. this was $50. basiclly i see it its gonna get dirty/dented..(if you off road) so why pay top dollar.. save the money for winches,tires,suspension etc,,lol i have some new videos to post of the jeep/quad/and bronco..most of my vids are 1-2 years olds..so i will try to video some extra footage of the roof rack on the jeep, and others i saved fromthe junkyard.

hey, where did you attach the chain at the front? did it come with tow hooks? mine didn't i just put some aircraft cable and shackles on either side of mine, haven't had to use them yet. Have you used it and is it strong enough there? thx

well my jeep was a "BUDGET" build..my didnt come with hooks, and they go for 100 plus..? theres 2 holes on the front frame way behind the front bumper..very tight space.. i had 2 grade8 bolts have had some hard tugs on it and did great..very thick links,real steel.

save money... also i had it zipped tied to the sway bar at first to kinda hide it when the jeep still shined... but now i let it hang. :)

3 INCH SPACERS. in the springs...only trimmed a little plastic triangle on the front bumper,and angle grinded the front wheel wells on the firewall side..theres a little vertical seem/lip...other then that never rubs unless i jump it. or extreme articulation...saved 500-1000 not buying a lift kit....yet.

got it from summit raceing, i think it was about 180-200 fits right up.

was about 75 bucks or so. simple but effective.(the jeeps my budget truck). i'll look to see were i got it from.

only rubs if i jump it or extreme flexing..but the rub is very very minor..i have 31 tires. no other lift mods..

i went cheap and got the 2 inch since i have a lifted bronco quad dirtbikes etc,,i have to spread the wealth,,but i would go 3 if you have the money, if not 2 will do the job..

after the 4th traffic lite theres a bunch of industrial buildingds..this spots behind the HUGE white/blue building at the 3rd light.. its near yapank motorcross track area..and the dump.
