i'm lynne murray in the movie at pine street and i took them to annes rock in colwyn(originally darby) and i gauantee you this is the only and i mean only movie about annes rock.....non-fiction.....oh and the guy with the bandana is my old boyfriend pat vahey.........from southwest philly.....but a strong lover of darby.....its still a great town i had three generations of my family graduate from darby-colwyn high me graduating in 1982.......sadly THE LAST CLASS
My Union (APWU) post office rebuilt Wellworth's and now rent it out (cheap) for private affairs. I don't live in Darby anymore but still love the memories...
darby is trash because a bunch of white people choose to rent their homes to lowlifes and move to greener pastures without screening the tenants or selling the homes to responsible hardworking homeowners. they receive payment from section 8 and dont care who they rent the houses to. as long as the rent is gauranteed. if these white people started screening the renters for credit and criminal checks this town wouldnt have gone to hell. but they dont care. they get the rent and thats what matters.
I moved from Darby. Now I live in Chester County, and would never go back even if someone gave me a free house to live in there. It went from a working class (albeit rough) town, to a welfare sewer. To the probably last two or three people there with jobs....get out while you can.

yeah i got this video. was a nice lil town but the people and crime rate was out of this world. im glad i got out of there.
