Tell me, how does carhart destroy these babies? saline or d & e? you may want to reread the section in your biology class about a baby's development in the womb--he or she already has a heartbeat at 18 to 25 days--all major organs in place by 8-9 weeks--he or she already has fingerprints by then.

You need to spend less time on youtube insulting strangers and showing your ignorance, and more time in a book about fetal development--Who Carhart and his staff kill are NOT "pre fetal cell clumps"--but live human beings, in some cases, only months from being born. Is that what they told you?

The terminations Dr Carhart does are for necessary reasons, primarily serious birth defects or threats to the mother's life. He doesn't do elective terminations past 26 weeks.

I have met several women that were born because of rap. They are glad that they were not aborted. They have productive happy lives. I also met a woman that survived a saline abortion. She's now a recording artist with several albums out, married with children. Let's let the children live.

Why not research the women who've had this procedure performed during their very much wanted pregnancies in order to find accurate information. Try Tammy Watts, Vikki Stella, Viki Wilson, Becky Bruce or try visiting the website: a heartbreaking choice for the stories of these women whose doctors performed the safest and most appropriate surgical procedure. Let's leave the medical judgement calls to the Doctors and not some random dude from the internets, shall we?

Do you actually know what ID&E entails? Even most people who are pro choice draw the line at Partial Birth Abortion! As I ask before what medical reason is there to do intact Dilation and extraction?

Yes, a very dear friend of mine had the procedure performed when her very much wanted pregnancy went devastatingly awry... Thank God that Dr. Tiller was able to perform the safest and most responsible surgical procedure for her and that she and her family were able to make the best, most responsible & moral choice despite the hyperbolic, emotive and oftentimes violent actions of those who do not trust women and who just don't like abortion.

In 1996 Carhart went before Congress to answer questions about ID&E and stated that indeed a viable fetus was being killed in the process. He described in vivid and disgusting detail about dismembering a fetuses' limbs prior to delivering it stillborn. While I am against ALL abortions I can at least see the debate about abortion in the 1st trimester (although I disagree) but there is no point to deliver a fetus partially and then kill it while it is still halfway in the womb. That is just sick!

I've scoured the testimony and not once does Dr. Carhart make a statement that of the 10-20 times per year that he used the IDX procedure that it was performed on a viable fetus (not surprising since this is, in fact, against the law) And you need to learn your terminology the "I" in IDX or ID&E stands for "intact" (as in, not dismembered) so it would appear as if the info you provide is (surprise) blatantly false. Using misinformation and/or outright lies is not an effective arguing tool.

You think its perfectly okay to deliver a perfectly healthy fetus and jab a sharp instrument in its spine while it is still in the womb partially. Please feel free to reference the quote, by me, in which I make the blanket statement that "all pro lifers [are] terrorists" If you're going to deny that extremists have systematically terrorized the OB/GYNs who perform abortions, the clinic workers, escorts and women who utilize abortion services; the documented history of murders, shootings, bombings &/or bomb-threats, stalking, threatening and various websites which promote violence would be sufficient enough to prove you wrong, eh?

I think it is perfectly okay for a doctor to determine what is the most appropriate medical procedure to perform on her/his patient. If you believe it's "jaded" and/or "sick" to trust the judgement of those within the field of medicine or to trust women and their families to make the best, most responsible and moral decisions regarding their doomed pregnancies, that would appear to be your issue, not mine.

Why do you think that only a handful of OB/GYNs will even consider abortion past viability? Only Dr. Carhart and about 10 others in the whole nation will even attempt the procedure, because it is dangerous and unnecessary. Most Physicians, even most who perform abortions will draw the line at some point.
