I used to work at WWBB 101.5 FM in Providence, Rhode Island. Nice to see a community station had the call letters prior to us. Sorry to hear they are no longer on the air, though.
My father use to preach on WWBB when I was a child!! Some Sundays we would go 4 times!! Sunday School, Radio Station, homecoming, and the evening service somewhere!!
I remember walking down Smoot avenue to the little store to by a pop and bag of chips!! that was the first time I saw an african american!! My two brothers and I would play football with them every Sunday after our initial meeting.
