She's probably not to excited because she got a few mistakes. :P I am just playing. Anyhow, I am taking my road test tomorrow, and I hope to pass. I learned fast.. so I am a good driver already, but I am concerned about my nerve that can screw me up!

@gunzorro Almost failed, actually, I was bad at keeping my eyes forward all the time, I used both feet to drive (I only used my left foot for the clutch though...), and I was too close to the shoulder at some times. The only thing I thought I was going to get points taking off for was waiting too long to stop, and not using the "Cross-over turning method", but she didnt even tell me anything about those things.

California. The driving test went well and her nerves were her biggest obstacle. I hear the CA test is not too hard, with no parallel parking.

Focus on your basics -- mirrors, turn signals and looking left and right.

Remember that most testers WANT you to get your license! :)

I failed the first time. Make sure you practice what they had you do. And do it perfectly. :). I passed the 24th and I feel GREAT.

The whole driving test? Maybe 15 minutes at the most, including checking the car and controls before taking off for the drive part.

Don't be nervous! You'll be fine with enough practice -- practice as much as you can.

but it has lowered a lot, and we are more safer than we were in the 1960s which had the highest number of automobile accidents. even with all the new drivers and more cars on the road, our numbers are much lower.

ford inventing the seat belt really help bring the number. i'm not sure about other countries, but i thought i was going to die in Italy.

its been like that for decades...idk, we get two years more experience than others. the number of accidents is high for young people but it goes down because of experience. moving it up to 18 wont help, they've lost two years of driving experience.

I'm preparing for my driver's licence exam right now ... it's very hard and expensive in our country ... for every trie you have to pay like maybe 70 dollars in your money .. i don't know if that's expensive for you americans .. but it's very much for me ... :P

Its just like riding a bicycle. The first time you are scared of the new activity.  You try , try, try again. Then that one day when you pedal down the street like the wind. You gotta get used to it by practicing. The main thing is to try to stay relaxed, most of your fear is in your mind only, and unfounded. Your initial perceptions are not accurate. Try to stay relaxed, thats the main thing, take it slow. Its all about practice, like everything else.World record driver....

The New Jersey road test is so much easier. Other than the parallel parking, everything else is really easy to pass. They do not even take us on the real road in New Jersey. I do not know why California's road test has to be so much harder.

Well, you do need at least one of your parents to help you get a driver's permit or enroll in a driver's training program. Work on that, and let them know it will eventually save them driving you around. They will relent, I'm sure. I hope. ;)

Sadly, i failed.

I got a really harsh lady.

She was talking to me and i wasn't paying attention so i slowed down at a green light when i was making a right turn. I failed because of it.

She marked me down saying i didn't do a lot of things when i did, she just was just in too much of a rush.
